I Cannot edit .pbo files?

So i went to edit my server pbo file and everytime i do i get stuck at "Requesting Authentication". At the console the MySQL database does not load. It justs says "Game Started.". I Am using PBO Manager (http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=16369). Could anyone tell me why? I Am running a 64 bit system on Windows 7.

They don't need repacked, try adding the folder and see if the game starts.

That will rule out bad repacking or bad file edits.

Do you mean delete the .pbo file and just leave the dayz_server folder there?

Yes that's what i mean, you don't have to have them as .pbo files, the mission will run fine with a folder.

You should PBO your files: mission one and server one :)

Thanks :) I have the dayz_server as a .pbo but the mission is a folder. I'll try to pack the misson.

Wait would the .pbo go here:

\DayZ Server Files\MPMissions\DayZ_Epoch_24.Napf\DayZ_Epoch_24.Napf.pbo

Or here

The server is running an incorrect version of the server side application. You cannot play on this server. If you are the server admin please contact the DayZ staff.

 

That is also if i get the fresh files.

Then your repacking isn't the cause, see your edits and look for typos.

Guys! I fixed it but i now have yet ANOTHER problem. I get stuck at this screen.

Look at your rpt log file for errors while server startup.

I fixed the error. I replaced my files in MPmissons with the fresh ones.
