Infistar grey screen

Question

Tried to install infistar on a fresh namalsk overpoch 1.0.5.1/125548 server and get a grey screen just as i get into game. I only bought it today so im guessing its up to date!

 

Been searching google all day, cant really find a solution and was wondering if anyone had any ideas, I know we're not supposed to talk too much about it on here, I have emailed infistar, just waiting to hear back.

 

Anyone else had this error?

hi, thanks for the reply dude, yeah I copied and pasted the contents of the battleeye_filter folder into C:\Users\Administrator\Desktop\Dayz Epoch Server\BattlEye

I have no bans.txt anywhere!!

 

Same thing happens on my cherno overpoch server too and when I remove infistar i can get in, strange

 

I tried the server.pbo infistar sent me as an example and it does the same thing!!!

Pretty sure this might be client side. We had two guys who were regulars to our server get the gray screen after we updated to 125548. The bummer for them was they reinstalled their clients, played just fine for a couple days then bam right back to the gray screens. We haven't had anything in our server RPT that would indicate why it was happening which is what made me think it was client side. It could be some random conflict with the way they updated as well as both just updated through Steam instead of fresh installs.

Couple trouble shooting questions:

Is everyone else able to join no problem?

Have you tried temporarily deleting all of your BE filters to see if the Infistar issue is in AH.sqf or the filters?

In my experience, if you connect to a server and for a second see the lobby but then switches to a solid gray screen, then you have been banned by AH.

 

What version of AH are you running? (Should be seen on line 5 in the AH.sqf)

I deleted all my arma 2 and arma 2 OA and DZC and still get the same issue happens to everyone else too.

I posted that as the rpt you put up had a similar error as one of those guys

Conflicting addon Monaro in 'holdenmonarocop\', previous definition in 'holdenmonaro\'

 

We had to contact infistar as one of the newest updates he put out has been randomly banning people from our server. I just got done removing it and trying to fix one guy getting banned for buying an ATV, another guy for flying a mozzie, another guy for crashing a helicopter and getting banned for some Burn error. Been kind of a nightmare to be honest as it all started happening since our last restart a couple hours ago.
