I know this has been posted many times, but I am wondering what to do to change my epoch server to an overpoch server. 

 

My server is based with bert hosting and I was wondering if anyone who has the same server host and runs an overpoch server on it can give me a list on what they did to get it running correctly.

 

Also, to make sure people can join what commandline do they have to be using?

add @DayzOverwatch; to your launch parameters

heres what i did. upload @overwatch from your arma 2 files. or if your on a CPanel type server system like vilayer, install overwatch rename the @overwatch file to "stuff" uninstall overwatch then install Epoch and rename the "stuff" file back to "@overwatch".

 

now you just have to setup a custom loot folder and copy your CfgBuildingLoot, CfgSmallLoot files in there, find the strings that list the guns and ammos that are in the loot table. add new overwatch guns as you desire. heres a classnamelist http://pastebin.com/eDfEBdQs

 

now you wanna add any guns you add to loot to your traders, or make a new overwatch trader. i recommend this guys Youtube vid guide on it 

 

and your pretty much good. aside from adding the 350zs, copcars and camel and stuff (overwatch vehicles). personally i can take or leave the vehicles, the nissan is OP as it goes 100 kph lossless off road, and thats ridiculous, the copcars add desync and are annoying as hell! etc.

 

also you may want to add some overwatch guns to your DZMS npcs, or Sarge AI.

 

theres other things like the stalker skins which i havent gotten to work properly, and the mini lock boxes and stuff you can add too but thats the basics. google is your friend, theres alot more out there about it now, then a month ago. should be relatively easy.
