Version problems?...?

Desire

Question

Ok, so I was look for my server on dayz commander and noticed that it wasn't bright like all the others.. Now, I have a up-to date version of epoch and stuff, but it still isn't bright. I hovered over the version of my server and another one, and noticed that his / hers said 1.0.4.2 ... I'm pretty sure I have 1.0.4.2 epoch on my server.. What's wrong..

Here are the images :

i've had this issue before.

if you go into your server files and open up the config.cfg file

where it says hostname = "something", put (1.0.4.2/103718) that in there somewhere. (make sure your epoch and arma version numbers are correct!, they may be different to mine)

that's always been the fix for me

with dayz commander it's all about how you named your server.

you need to have in brackets (EpochVersion/BetaVersion) in the name of your server for dayz commander to know this information.

examples:   (1.0.4.2/112555) this one if you updated your server and client to newest beta..

(1.0.4.2/103718) this one if you are still on previous build

then when a player looks at the list of servers, if it matches the version they have installed it will show up white.

So:

1. look at install/update on dayz commander and find out what beta version you are running

2. open config.cfg and make sure the name of your server is correct.

3. check dayz commander and if they both match it should appear white.
