crckdns
Hi there, I've followed all the steps (just to be sure, so I can ask XD) of the tutorial by Jahan (video). Then I tried to use the B3 arma2 plugin for restarting.. and then found a problem I wouldn't have found w/o the b3.. B3 wasn't able to log-in with rcon due to wrong password. So I've checked the beserver.cfg in cfgdayz/battleye ..to confirm, the password was the one I've set. After trying again, I found another battleye folder in expansion/battleye also with beserver.cfg ..there was this default "changeme" password~ I tried it just for fun and it was really the changeme password. My question is now, why are there 2 BE folders.. and why is the one in cfgdayz/battleye not being used but the one in expansion? I tried to set it with -bepath="cfgdayz/battleye" but this failed by "battleye initialization failed" I remember..this problem back then when I was hosting an arma2 server on linux~ have no clue how I solved it last time >_< regards cracky
jahangir13
The executable needs to be in expnsion/battleye. You can set the path for the config and files to somewhere else...except the executable. https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/BattlEye
