If I can't have skins, what about humanitymorphs?

ArborLad

Question

I run a server on my PC for myself and a few friends to build on and teach our other friends the basics on how to play, we've been enjoying Namalsk, and thanks to the posts on these forums I've gotten all the features I've wanted and we have alot of fun!

Namalsk is basically the STALKER map, and as such I downloaded the STALKER suit addon for Arma II, and included it in my DayZ Epoch files so I could have an AI faction using them. As there's only 4-6 of us playing we don't mind having an "altered" Epoch folder.

I beat my head against a wall trying to figure out how to get the STALKER skins to be available to players before eventually conceding to was for someone more clever than me to figure out, but as I discovered, I could add them to the admintools humanitymorphs to use the models.

My question is, if I can't have custom skins, is there anyway to add a humanitymorph item, or add the function to an existing item?

Fred's Wardrobe seems promising, my only worry is how it would interact with the cold weather of Namalsk! I've suddested it to my players, so we'll have a play with it. Thanks for the links, both of you.

If you run epoch namalsk you should be able to add the skin to the wam clothes variables. Regular namalsk I dont' know. Although I run one, I have never looked in to it.

I don't know if humanitymorph variables would count in the fn_temperatur.sqf but regardless the vote was to remove it. The Fred's Wardrobe script seems to have been well received, so I guess that settles this for the most part. Thanks!
