MSVCR.dll missing after visual c++ install

Dismal

Question

I am at a loss

I'm attempting to start up a dedicated server and have everything running as far as i can tell, but when i join the server i get an error that MSVCR100.dll is missing even though i've installed the visual c++ redistribute file.

I've tried the 32 bit the 64 bit ive repaired, rebooting after each install i just cant get past it.

any help would be a HUGE help

I'm running windows server 2008 RC2 with all updates installed.

I can't seem to get BEC loaded now, and the error i get is apparently associated with the Visual c++ stuff again............

I ran the SxSTrace thing and clicked it, this is the output.

Can anyone look at it and tell me what i have to do?

OK!

This is fun

I installed the 2008 sp1 visual c++ and it allowed me to run BEC, but now the freaking server wont run because of MSVCR100.dll is suppossedly missing again?!@?!!@?@?!

Is this normal for there to be so many issues with one freaking window file??

What can i do to fix BOTH issues in one go?
