New to Dayz Mod

bought the standalone. Love it thus far but a long way to go. Everything and everyone i've talked to says play Epoch. So I bought Arma 2, downloaded DayZ commander and get Arma 2 and everything to launch wonderfully. Just one problem.

 

I find a dayz Epoch server that looks interesting and click join.

It joins just fine and takes me to the arma 2 screen where I can click multiplayer. I don't even know if this is right?

I click multiplayer and it pulls up a bunch of Arma 2 games.. is there something i'm missing? I can play arma 2 just fine if I wanted to and the DayZ mod is installed and recognized on my machine. I just.. i'm confused on how to get to a DayZ server and play Dayz.

 

I know. I'm a noob. But thanks for any help/trolling on me anyways =)

Try use Dayz Commander. Should sort out the problem for you :)

Do you use steam? If so, tick the steam box on dayzcommander

Looks to me like you only purchased arma 2 and not arma 2 ao???
