  2. I would like a MOVING truck (maybe with a live updated marker) to move from 1 position to another on the map.  

    The objective would be to intercept and shoot the driver (and co-driver) and then grabbing the vehicle with the loot INSIDE.

    If vehicle gets destroyed then some loot will spawn around like a chopper crash.

     

    I like the idea of a moving marker (saw it in Wasteland) but it could also just be start and end position shown.

     

    Both start position and end position should be randomly set.  So players are able to chase the vehicle but as such not knowing where the mission starts.

     

     

    I have tried editing the existing animated crash spawner but had no luck.  Anyone willing or wanting to take on this task?  Creating this would result in unlimited variations for server owners.  They will be able to create missions based on this and activating their players even more.  ATV/MC patrols getting chased.  Policecar on its way to apprehend criminals - intercept and protect your friends = loot

     

    The possibilities are MANY.

     

    Should be run as an Epoch event.

  3. Might we conclude that your AI shoots at Blufor units but dont shoot at Opfor units?  Hummers are Blufor and Vodnik and BTR90 are Opfor.

     

    I know they are spawned "empty" but they are as such connected to sides.  As is the AI.  I have seen examples of people being able to run straight up to AI missions in certain skins without getting shot at.  Maybe search on the forum for this type of conflict?

    Seems that it is a matter of AI shooting only if the can damage the target.  RPG should be the way to go.

     

  4. I have just been hit with the exact same error.  Havent tried disabling my non existent A drive.

     

    Any suggestions are appreciated since this affects every instance of Arma 2 I try running.  Epoch, Overpoch and Wasteland. 

     

    I timed the event and it happens after exactly 15 mins.  Every time.

     

     

    Edit: Found that some people are experiencing the same on Arma 3 BP.  Thus making me think its our beloved BE acting up again.

    I really believe you´re wrong.  Most of the "packs" Overwatch has are freely available to download on misc Arma sites.  There may be issues in relation to some, since Vilas Car addons were previously included, but he requested them removed from Epoch, because they accepted donations (as far as I recall)

     

    The "normal" procedure is to ASK for permission to use the misc packs in Mods.  I think THAT is the main block atm.

     

    I do not believe the Overwatch team has copyright on anything besides the logo.

  6. Easy solution:  REMOVE what you previously have done and use the method below:

     

    In your missionfile - open the init.sqf add this:

     

    DZE_selfTransfuse_Values = [6000, 1000, 60];

     

    6000 = Bloodamount

    1000 = Infection chance (non existent)

    60 = Time untill next possible bloodbag (I think)

  7. Using OC Networks and VERY satisfied with them!

     

    Several of their guys are on the official Epoch ts (playing Epoch in misc variants) but are always willing to help if the need is there.

     

    I have previously had servers with Vert and have nothing but good stuff to say about them also.  But OC Networks has more options and are on hand for help.  Makes the difference for me.

  8. I get this error 11:04:36 : Command file contains a error, 1st job Id did not start at 0

     

    From the Scheduler FAQ:

     

    Q: Why does none of my schedules work, been editing for hours for no use. :/

    A: Because Bec is very strict when it comes to the Scheduler system, it does not tolerate any errors.

     

     

    And theres been a change in format too, heres an example from my working Scheduler:

  9. My friend just got a server and wanted me to come on. Every time I tried I kept getting frozen at the last load screen (Timer to log in after creating my character) I refreshed everything and now It acts like I'm logged in. (I can hear my feet and if I have a gun I can shoot.) But all I see is the "Epoch Napf" load screen. But when my friend turned off battle eye I had no issues logging in. Anyone got anything. If so let me know. Also i'm not a huge techy so help me out on how to do each thing as well please :D Thanks.

     

    If you look in the forum called "Client Side Issues" theres many with the exact same problem. 

     

    You however seem to be the first trying to disable BE to fix it.  I have a post there where I actually point out that MY servers problems got a lot worse after the BE update from version 18 to 19.  I might try this to see if it fixes my problems too.

  10. Also running a server with 125548 + 1.0.5.1. 

     

    Had minor issues with this in the last week.  Worked around it with restarts.  So players could get in.

     

    TODAY:  Only 1 player can enter the server.  All joining after 1 player can not get in.

     

    Tested it with me logging in as the first.  I get in.  Another one tries after and can not get in.

    We switch so he logs in first.  He gets in.  I cant.  Nothing helps.

    We tried this at least 10 times.  All times the first player gets in and the second doesnt.

     

    Current state gets switched in the db depending on who logs in first and second.  All after the first one get 100.

     

    Can see there has been a BE update?  Whats going on lol?
