  1. GPU isn't t important since it's a server and you can't use the process power a GPU have. RAM is limited to 2047 mb pr. server you run so i would say HDD and CPU. either use SSD or multiple 15K SAS spinning disk. remember to seperate SQL disk from game disk for better performance

  2. CustomSpawns.sqf allows you too..  I have Skalisty Island setup as bandit HQ...

    20 ai on the ground patroling

    7 kords/Dskm

    1 stinger pod

    4 heli paradrops (Mi17sh rockets, players have learned not to shot at them)

    GN-185T on patrol

    3 GPK Patrols

    4 RHIB patrols

    3 milt barracks

    and a random lot crate with almost every possible item/weapon..(every restart new items/weapons)

     

    I had another setup at NWAF and NEAF, but players started to rage :)

    I also had to remove the L39 on patrol over NWAF :(     would hunt players until dead....

    I liked the C130 paradrops but the planes wouldn't despawn after returning to spawn location...

    I also edited to allow Ai to keep magizines(nvgs/painkillers/gold bar/etc) on death.  Gun would just disappear...

    Care to share the file, and how to setup?

    I did some editing On the missin files, but as i understand the custom spawn Can be tricky...

    i love the missions, but if it is possible, can there be a mission like bandit HQ , with alot of bandits, snipers and vehicles, and maybe a chopper patrol, but i want it to spawn at server restart, and last until the next server restart. 

    Also i would like a mission, where the bandits are driving arround, mayby random og from A to B.

  4. That what you are asking is not so easy. Static place is ok, but if you want get there vehicles and choppers, you need to change compiled scripts, because you need to delete them by mission timeout. And special loot - you need to make some changes in missionCfg and make second lootbox... Its a lot of work man :-)

Markk311 i dont know what to say mate but these Ai are awsome i dont need to use any other Ai on my 2 servers,custom spawns is great,made a new base with 2 static boxes full of gear,4x6 squads,2 heli patrols,6 static M2/MG's,plus 2 heli para drops with 14 more Ai dropping in :D who needs to play Oringins and go to Sector B when you can make your own :P.

    Sounds like a Challenge, do you like to share the settings/files?

    Is it a random location?

    Does it start at serverstart/restart?

    I Think this is the Best ai :-)

  6. I think it is a good idea to list some wishes, so here are mine.
    I will include the ones from sk827015 that i also wouldt like to see.
     
     
    -Build in Admin tools (Maybe also a config tool).
    -Weapon crafting (like in Arma3).
    -More weapons, not nessacary military (makes it harde to find the right combination of weapon and ammo).
    -Bodyarmor.
    -Upgrade vehicles, maybe diffent class of vehicles, so that a wheel from a trcator does not fit on a car.
    -Trailer to attach to a car or truck.
    -Weather needs to be more versatile (snow, storms, fog and so on).
    -More diffent vehicles (shopping carts, roller blades).
    -Opportunity to set traps for player/Zeds, maybe dig a pitt.
    -When you eat, you have to go to the toilet, and if you dont do it in a outhouse or wc, it will attract zeds.
    -Build in top -510 favorite mods (choosen by voting), but can be turned on/off in the config file.
    -Difficult vehicles, like helicopter and planes, needs a document (manual) to be able to use, so that it isnt possible for a player to fly a chopper 5 min after spawn.
    -Some way to add smell (like sound and visibility) so if you dont take a bath, og wlak in the rain, og swim, zeds will detect you faster.
    -Season (maybe shortened).
    -Opportunity to build things that cannot be found bought (like a raft, treehut, vehicles like Origin).
    -More drugs, so you can lower your heart rate (better aiming) or raise the heart rate (to run haster).
    -Stationary guns.
    -Drag and replace wrecks.
    -Diving, should be included (find a sunken ship/treasure), since it is A3 engine.
    -Predators (wolf, bear, snakes).
    -A former nuclear plant, where you need to get at radiation suit to get inn to find some special loot.
    -Underground buildings, like basements and subway station with tunnels (fast travel from one place to another, in complete darkness off course).
    -Please dont add stuff that dont have any use (empty vans and bottles are fine) like toilet paper, and shaving tool.
    -Opportunity to grow food (corn / chickens).
    -Ammo count needs to work, and not like now where the mags are filled up when you log in again.
    -Diffent maps, but Chernarus MUST be included, its a part og DayZ...
    -Dokuments/manuals to be able to craft/know stuff (maybe you find a map of a hidden treasure, or find a map of the sewers).
     
    The MOST important thing, please keep the same mood in the game (the slightly creepy theme, with ambient noises).
     
    Imo Level-up system should not be included, it should be up to the player to train with the gun, to get better aiming.
  7. fn_selfAction.sqf is not natively part of your mission file, it needs to be copied there.

    I have tried it several times, and i can get it to work, but then some of the Epoch features is missing :-/

     

    Is there anybody who have the selfbloodbag script working, and would share the files, or give at step by step tutorial?

    i followed Krixes instruction for existing custom dayz_mission.pbo and selfActions.sqf

    BUT i cant find any fn_selfAction.sqf within the mission files...

    I got:

  9. I dont overwrite anything, i use the krixies script, but i cant get it to work.

    I used to run several scripts from bungles custom package, but i guess that it not upgraded to epoch 1.0.2.1

    Now i got the upgraded tradermenus, so im pretty sure that it is the selfbloodbag script that is the bad guy here...

  10. I have tried some things now, i started with a clean epoch, and it worked as intended, and with the sarge ai, but i cant get it to work with selfbloodbag, i have tried different versions, but all with the same result...

    @betterdeadthanzed, what selfbloodbag script do you use?

  11. I cant build floor and walls, i got the text saying pgup, down and so on, but the keys are not working.

     

    I see that it might be the debug monitor causing this, but where do i remove it?

     

    Im running the selfbloodbag, tow/lift (from bungle) and sarge AI scripts, so any idea?
