  1. you need to use something like BEC to do restarts for you. maybe infistar if u have that.

    Alternatives to BEC for automated server restarts:

    Please see the release notes for Epoch 0.3.0.3 for details on  the built in automated server restart functions. The new method for automated server restarts is recommended if you are setting up a new server.

     

    To use the built in server restart functions, open @epochhive\epochconfigs.hpp

    In the first line, change

     

    serverRestart         = false; // true sends #shutdown command to server after the time specified in ForceRestartTime

     

    to

     

    serverRestart         = true; // true sends #shutdown command to server after the time specified in ForceRestartTime

    Took that straight from this Server Setup Topic and that's what I've done to my code (at least that's what I think) and it doesn't work. 

  2. This script still being working on ? Saw this on another server and it's great. can't get it to work on mine though. Or even if anyones got this working and would send me their files that would be great :) ! 

  3. Got the server running fine. Which is great. having an issue with it showing up on the game finder but i think that's a port issue not the serve itself. Question I have is I've set my server restart to true but the server won't restart after 4 hours. It's not a big deal because only me and my cousin play on it. But I'm curious to what the issue is. I'll add the code here. Hopefully someone can't find my error :P

  4. Hi there. I've seen on a server I've been on a script for a Convoy and a Communications Center. Only script I can find is ZevMissions but I can't get it to work and by the looks of things the creator doesn't come on the forums anymore. Anyone know of an alternative to this or if anyone plans on making one ?

    See the extra brackets ? let me know if you want your Player ID hidden, not everyone likes it public, your issue should be resolved though.

    Where the adminmenu_owner is I'd add my steamid and then name (Woddell) have also tried just Admin as it will only be me. and followed syntax that was in the comments. It's only when I add the "Steamid","NameWouldBeHere" to the {} it gives the error if I remove it and save it runs fine.

  8. I've been trying to setup my server since the weekend. Kept crashing and couldn't figure out why so I've done a few fresh installs. I've now found the issue (or atleast 1). When I go into Epochah and setup my details to be menu owner the game won't load and give me error   Server not Ready (Error 02). If someone could help me sort this that would be great. thanks.

  9. Hey guys. Started a server today for myself to mess about with. Got the server working fine thanks to a script i found on here. Started the server on my Ubuntu Laptop using epoch_linux_startscript.sh start and it worked perfectly fine. However when I went to stop the server it didn't stop. I keep trying the stop command and status command and it tells me the server isn't running. But i can see it and still connect. Anyone know how i can fix this ?
