  1. Guys,

    I know some of you got the Bar working on Chernarus Map. I always get a BEC Line 20 Kick.

    I tried.

    Nothing seems to work. Any hints ?

    I tried many times with different ways to do this with no luck. I need some serious help here.
     
    * I made custom file inside mission file and placed the Welcome.sqf file there. I also placed the init.sqf file to missions file. Does it matter where I place the init.sqf file? 
    * I did not have Description.ext file, but under MPmissions file I found epoch.Chernarus.pbo and I unranked it and thus I got the Description.ext file. After modifying it, I repacked it to pbo file. 
     
    I did all of the steps but unfortunately nothing seems to be working. Please help me understand what I'm doing wrong here.

     

    Mine PBO Folder looks like this:

     

    /Epoch.Map/custom/introsong.ogg

    /Epoch.Map/custom/welcome.sqf

    /epoch.Map/description.ext

    /epoch.Map/init.sqf

     

    While in Custom I have the code of the Welcome message. And in the description.ext and Init.sqf file the changes from Page 1.

    Then you Pack the Folder /Epoch.Map/ into a pbo.

    If there is no description.ext you need to create one.(Watch out windows likes to make it a description.ext.txt, did cost me 1 hour of my life. I hate Windows)

    epoch.Map is obviously your map you wanna use like Altis, cherna etc.

  3. The status Bar shows wrong restart time if the server has been restarted outside usual restart times. While I think this is normal ( How should the bar know what was a normal or scripted restart).

    Everything works fine again once normal restart schedule is back on track.

     

    But how about a option to add fixed restart times ? Like calculation from Server Time to fixed Times. i.e. 12 GMT(Fix Restart Time, variables in script) to 11:30 GMT (Time now) = 30 Minutes

     

    Could you trim the damage view to 3 digits ? More digits make the Restart time drop down a line. And imo it is irrelevant if you have 0.0355555 damage or 0.03.

    started using your Mission pack. And it works like a charme, easy to implement, and working without a problem.

    Thanks a lot for the work and all those who have contributed.

     

    After some days of usage I collected the following suggestion from my community:

    - Repeat Missions

         Sometimes mission types repeat over and over again. I know it's generally random by looking into the code, but for users it seems as if the same mission pop up over and over.

         How about a Option to not repeat a mission ? Meaning if "Supply Van" was last mission new picked mission can not be supply Van. (Turn On/Off Option would be great)

     

    - Loot

       A more randomized loot system for the Boxes would be great making the rewards more surprising.

     

    - No Loot if AI has been run over by Car

       Not sure if that is even possible. But Missions are generally a high pop area with a lot of good gun fights. And it is annoying when people just drive there, drive over the AI. and leave with the loot. The    Sniper and Launchers help but the Arma AI is sometimes just not smart enough. Not sure if this is even possible to do.

     

     

    Like I said, absolutly love the mission pack here. Just thought you wanna hear what I get as a feedback as admin.
