  1. Personally I suggestion I have thought of is that when you use an explosive on a wall it could partially destroy the wall, this allows for access to the base without causing the owner to have to completely replace it. The owners could at a later time 'Upgrade' the wall to repair it thus returning it to its previous state, this would allow for base raiding without owners having to take apart half of their base to replace a key wall in an awkward position.

It would also stop people duping and completely destroying other peoples bases.

  2. I have been wearing one as of late and my friends say something strange happens in first person in other vehicles. (The Hemmt)

*Also when aiming down sights with the pumpkin mask it clips into your view.

  3. 1. Skarinator

    2. I used the new Epoch 0.2 version and got the latest Arma version 1.32

    3. Just ran to a body of a guy my friend killed and we were looting, a sapper ran up to the two of us and blew up killing me but he survived. He grabbed my multi gun and tried to revive me, at which point two of my character models appeared inside each other above my (Now non existent body) controlled by AI and they ran around four meters. He gunned them down, my loot obviously got duped. (I was never actually revived the re-spawn message was still on my screen for the whole event)

    4. Unsure.

The strangest bug I have ever seen..

*After their deaths the AI remained part of the group, their markers persisted and were given generic character names.

  4. Does that not reflect how it would be? A solo survivor would struggle with both resources and sanity more then a small group/society.

But to some point I disagree, when I play solo it´s usually then I find the more valueble things.

Yes but you also have to take into consideration this is designed to be fun to play, realism isn't everything.

That is purely luck, the loot system will not reward solo players any more than groups.

  5. I roll with my clan and have been playing together for around a year now, Epoch is a blast and we are all really enjoying the mod. Loot is easy enough to come by and the PvP keeps you on edge. For a group of our size (Normally around 6 of us on, but likely to be more) getting and repairing vehicles is extremely easy, much like finding base parts when you can hit almost every storage container.

Now this isn't the problem, I was thinking last night about the difficulty small groups or even solo players will have with the mod. For a large group finding a multi tool and a vehicle repair attachment isn't exactly hard, therefore repairing vehicles is a menial task. Whereas for a group of two players? It could seem an almost impossible task unless they are lucky, likewise with most things found in the mod. Not that there is a problem with playing in groups (The mod is designed around it) but there should be some solo play elements too, all those players alone or in small groups will be having a hell of a hard time.

All in all, in an established group the mod is a little too easy whereas on the other hand maybe a little too hard for smaller groups or solo players. (A solo player hasn't got a hope in hell of building a base, even a 1x1 shack)

  6. I think that the issue lies with the current spawn mechanism.

If we keep the current system, where you can pick a gate to where to spawn, you should have timers for each gate. So run from A->B and get killed, you respawn, and can't use the same gate again for a set amount of time.

Sounds like a reasonable and well thought out idea, I support this.

  7. Seems to be a problem with hackers on the server also, last night one guy was constantly on the kill board. Every 2 minutes he would kill another player/group and they were unique names so he couldn't have been spawn killing..

Then as we left a trader one guy mowed two of us down, I went on the flank and he was looting their bodies. I shot him in the back 4-5 times with 7.62mm and he span around (Whilst sprinting after all that damage) and instant headshotted me. One of our guys hid upstairs (One of the buildings you may only enter upstairs via an external door which leads straight onto a staircase) he was peeking down the staircase (Using E) and the door was closed. The hacker shot through the door, up the stairs and headshot him.

    He also had purple skin...
