so you are saying a scripter managed to get two of you autobanned by the battle eye system? O_o
if that is the case it needs looking at pronto this release because battle eye is unforgiving on removing bans.

why don't people check/read what they are doing when joining a game/mod these days? Do people really still expect that everything they see on a server list or otherwise in life is all 100% correct and ready to go!
Simple short time of reading or browsing would of shown the only servers to join are the ones listed, even then if it was an official server its obviously a hack death as its a safezone where you initially start.
The mind boggles.

@theirongiant BI is making a map that mimics Australia. It's 40x40km
they are? I only know of one thats made outside of BI that Breaking point team have signed some deal with for exclusiveness on it.

Bystrica is a pile of shite, it was tried on Breaking point and released images of cool trains and all nice stuff, then when played all it was to me was a ugly looking map twisted and contorted into a section of chernarus, with vast ugly grass areas and shoddy looking buildings placed everywhere. ( apart from cherno and elctro that is )
waste of any admins time tbh.

I thought BI stipulate that people are not allowed to use chernarus with arma 3 mods.... I remember there being such a stink about it at one time.

Its never about superiority its about a fair fight under fair conditions instead of someone "might" be able to glance u in a window where that would not normally be the case.
Regarding building and boating and the such thats pretty simple - when you hit build mode or whatnot you go into 3rd person, when you exit build mode u return to 1st, There fixed for you. :D

Yes the reason was single player campaign and single player mods/modes, due to the AI being crack shots no matter what you try and do with them for accuracy, through buildings through grass through trees etc etc, you will be aware of all that if you have played BI games for a long time. :D
So yes it was essential, but only to the bot aspect of the game.
P.s you can still peak through gaps in fences and walls etc even in first person.

^^ of course you do, because you can see what you would not normally see coming the other side of a hill, so yes more firefights are due to being MORE aware of whats near you even when you should not be.

There is a reason ArmA has 3rd person. They would not have included it in the game if it was not essential.

there is no need to worry about the change midway through server setups suppe, your items are going to be gone very shortly with a wipe anyhow on next update, I dont see why you would worry right now so much and post so many same posts over and over on ZU or here about you dont agree with changing the main server to HC and the new one to Veteran.
Its pointless to be concerned as its all about to go anyhow, meaning your fresh start will be on the new server just like it would of been on the first.

Correct, the CPC hardcore server will always be hardcore. They are also running a softcore/easymode/bambi/hellokitty server for those who prefer third person and crosshairs ;)
Well at least that is good to know if ZU is not able to keep Hardcore up due to pressure. It is again all these servers that should probably not be hosting that are causing this, the mentality of just easily jumping into a server and not worrying about whitelist or passwords is obviously taking people away when they get kicked out a server and need to use some savvy to get actually in it :O
I would take a guess they dont care because they are going to lose anything they do anyhow and so a home right now sort of speak is not priority maybe. Roll on future updates where they WILL want to be on the servers that matter and hold the new stuff, this is the moment numbers I hope will increase, with MGT server being very popular right now at 70/70 caped out, this will most certainly push players on new release versions of the mod to the other officials. :D

It sets the memory use of arma 3 to your systems default mall settings I think it was. there are various other ones you can try in arma 3 that can bring better performance, YMMV

Hardcore mode is real mode. Less people but better players.
Killing people using 3d perspective is not fair play.
I think that hardcore servers should exist for veterans players that love this game mode.
It is the only way to play tactical game like this that involves others in pvp, this see over wall bullshit and looking down from hills or from towers over many obstacles is right out simpleton mode :D - I'd love to see a chart here on age groups that prefer these two modes.

This guy suppe does nothing but complain about hardcore mode being set, he also goes under a different name I wont mention here right now, but also seems to like connecting/disconnecting consistently into various epoch servers I have noticed. Bloody annoying individual to say the least :D
*unfortunately fisk that maybe the case if hardcore is dropped for epoch from your servers, as the childs play server is very stable right now. Its hard to be loyal and stick in one place if things change all the time :/ childs play server seems to dictate that it WILL be hardcore and enforced as that.

check the info is seen when ur kicked I can not believe people join 5 times in a row and have not seen and progressed to whitelisting on the ZU servers.
It makes more sense that the whitelist url is not being seen or something by joiners.
Edit: already confirmed, it seems people are rather simple or something.

There are plenty of average size clan tagged people always with duped items running about, whenever you see them they are always with same clothing and snipers and always without fail even after full restart back with every bit of gear you could imagine. Including vehicles.
Its not really a problem it might change I guess, I just have fun going after last known locations and finding where they hang out to get a shot at one of them. Its only a game after all and much can be accomplished with just one weapon and a few mags. :D

I am guessing you guys have no experiences with CBA/AIA and what it can do to a mod within the Arma 3 framework.
Leave it for Arma 2 as it was intended and code pure stuff for Arma 3 only please.
