hello, im thinking this is because they dont have the proper addons installed and or missing addons completely. if somebody would be so kind to try and log on to my server and tell me what they get, that would be awesome. i am running AiA, latest epoch cherno and thats it ... the server is "VANILLA Spazoid Epoch Cherno w/missions w/treasure w/3 day lock" ... thank you for your time
p.s. this is not attempt at getting people on ... ha i dont have that problem ... just get lots and lots of disconnects
EDIT: nevermind, its the clients without addons or something ... someone joined just a sec ago no problems ... it amazes me how many people try and jump on servers they cant play because they are unaware of the mods ... thanks for your help anyways.

I am one of the many server admin/operators. Its just a hobby i suppose, tinkering and stuff, never was really good at the game (not a pvp player, always shot in the face or back). So, i decided to be admin instead and help and spectate and shit. Mells is good stuff, but only late at night for me. peace and enjoy the show!

forgot to say, i host on my machine. damn that 30-40 a month job

does sos work with epoch ... i personally have no experience with it, have only read bout it?

its a must have! is anyone having problems running with this? mine works fine when epoch is disabled, in game epoch nada! dang, whats up with that?

How does this work with purchased vehicles?
Are they bound to your Player ID that only you can unlock it or is it just like any fresh spawn vehicle that it's locked and anyone can unlock it?
i believe this is not the case. I just have my timer set for a 3 day lock on vehicles. its my understanding that the car belongs to last person in possession.

oh one more thing ... my server seems to be set up fine ... its seen in steam list and lan and able to join ... whats up with that?

to unblock files ... wow i recommend to read that also ... ive had issues with that before
what im gonna do is delete all publicvariables that i have and copy and paste orginal publicvariable.txt files from my epoch download and then run server ...

seems good except still cant spawn vehicles, watchdog shows that my publicvariable was changed ... i think that my be the problem ... i didnt change it though ... CRAZY

i deleted an extra publicvariableevar.txt that was in watchdog init.py file (thats what was changing my publicvariable in bec window), now im able to see why i cant spawn vehicles ...
"ADMIN: Unable to spawn vehicle, no slots available" ... all systems go now

so in case your getting kicked while using admin tools or if you cant spawn vehicles using admin tools (im running bec, watchdog with server if that matters to you)

yeah, im having trouble with this too. what do you mean by "config file", EpochServer.config? host is 127.0.0.1, 6379 is port in EpochServer.config, DB=0, password is set ... what am i missing? ... its just not saving, probably missing something so small here ... also, how do i work with my database, im new to this redis stuff

ive read the install text and for the life of me don't know how to set up redis (do i keep the 6379 as port? I run the start-redis and says ready for connections) ... im able to connect fine to my server, server shows on steam, good but no saving is happening ... also is it because its in dev (is it supposed to be dev?) that it cant connect to battleye server? thanks for everything ... im kinda lost
