  1. It would be nice to hear back from the devs or even have some updates.. I just feel like they are waiting for the make Arma not war Contest to finish and that is not until March! 

     

    The game has just gotten a bit stale, and even bigger youtubers have stopped showcasing it because there is nothing new or exciting.

  2. My foundations & floors disappeared.

    I built a base on foundations, placed a frequency jammer and disconnected inside the house.

    When I returned to the server, my foundations and floors(those are on the foundations), disappeared.

    The base stood still without falling apart and I maintained the base via the FJ so no problem there.

    Why my foundations & floors disappeared? I want to mention that I built the base on a hill but it was fine (if it helps).

    Also, I'm playing on Overpoch Stratis.

    Considering Stratis is not supported, and you are on a CCG server.. not surprised. Surprised you even got past the deysnc on there servers

  3. I'm of the understanding that they're both mods that would then require everyone who attempted to join the server to have them as well otherwise they'd get kicked wouldn't they?

     

    Correct, but its not hard for clients to do. I am really looking forward to this framework system they want to to design, I am hoping for some sort of * you do not have the required addons to play on this server - would you like to download them? * sort of system..

    3. UAV - Revealing other players in the same area (F.Ex. seeing them hover on top of a city when you're just entering it)

     

     

    Just needs to fly around now, A feature involving you having to hide as it flys over you, also a scanning effect and better spawning of the AI. But hey custom servers are just around the corner ;)

  5. Is there any chance you can put something like the weapon resting and reduced weapon sway mods in? Even if it's your own cut down version of them? I think they'd benefit the playerbase considerably.

     

     

    Or wait till server files are released in December and do it yourself? They have enough on there plate

    I think revive has quite a few flaws that need to be ironed out if it is going to become a key feature of Epoch.. 

     

    Headshots should be instadeath, the player should not get a second chance in this instance, you have had a round enter your skull and into your brain you are GONE. Some might argue oh but what if you got shot in the cheek, Arma does not have detection system like that so unless they custom map the facial area it should just be perma death.

     

    Also why does a downed player get clear vision and sound in the direction they where looking before they where downed? Vision should be very dark and there should be very little if not any sound, because what ends up happening is the hostile players get a spotter for 10 minutes that you CANNOT finish off. If you down a player in a building for example he can just guide the rest of his squad to you through vision or just yell out when you pass over him which just completely breaks all forms of immersion.

     

    Speaking of finishing off, why is this not a feature? Why can I not go up to someone I gunned down and put them out of there misery, stab them in the heart, shoot them in the head. It is frustrating when you kill a player looking forward to him having a nice run back, except he is not really dead and is most likely screaming out to the rest of the team that you have just moved up to them. Some might say you can just revive that player and kill them again thus getting rid of the problem, but why should I have too? I can't do that mid gunfight, and whats to stop him logging as soon as he gets up? 

     

    I hope revive gets balanced as I really want to see this game flourish.

The code system just becomes such a hassle when your base gets to a certain size, unless the code can be remember for everything single object or door after first time enter I don't see a problem, but having to alt tab over and over to bring up your list of codes just to unlock your base is a major hassle.

  8. Will we ever see changes to the cultists in the future similar to how they where shown off in footage 6-7 months ago

    teleporting if you tried to escape or run them over, smoke and lightning effects when they appeared or teleported.

     

    As cool as they are and shit you up when you stumble across them mid gun fight, they do seem to lacking those cool features/affects originally shown off I hope this is just for the current testing phase however.
