  1. Hey guys. I'm back again. Got a new server and I was trying to install Plot Management with P4L, but once again I'm having issues. I installed P4L first (after learning the hard way the last time), a few other scripts and now Plot Management. I followed the installation instructions word for word,dotted my eyes and crossed my tees and yet it still doesn't work. The entire thing works perfectly fine (all of my other scripts, including P4L), until I install Plot Management. Now, what I've noticed with Plot Management is that I don't get any upgrade options and I can't even see the plot pole necessarily (i.e. no maintain or show plot boundary, etc) so I have a feeling my issue is within my fn_selfActions.sqf. I'll post it here, if someone doesn't mind pointing out to me what I've done wrong. Thank you! No idea why the file ends like that but I don't get any errors from it. I know it wasn't like that when I put it in (that's what she said).. I wonder if it's a Vilayer thing.

  3. Hey guys, a lot of my players have been complaining about vehicles not saving positions after a prolonged period of inactivity. I've witnessed it myself when I flew a helicopter to Skalsity, did a few things, came back and it was gone back to Solichny. Is this an issue with the server_updateobject.sqf? I have Plot for Life, Plot Management, Door Management, etc installed. Here's my server_updateObject:
  4. I added the vehicles to the safe list in my variables so hopefully that'll fix it (I haven't had any complaints yet). I should have been more specific when I was talking about the "Money Storage" thing. They can see the scroll menu and they can click on it, but it disappears almost instantly when it comes back up.
  5. Hey there guys. My players are having an issue with money storage (I'm using Zupa's 3.0 Currency [no banking]) in vehicles, safes and lockboxes but I have absolutely no trouble with it (in terms of the gold saving on logoff and such). Everything works fine for me so this is getting me to wonder if the issue is with infiSTAR. The only problem here is that I've disabled pretty much all of infiSTAR's checks that would even be remotely relevant to this issue. I've also heard issues of players vehicles just straight up exploding (which may be attributed to roaming/static AI) and their bikes, mozzies or motorcycles disappearing when they're on them. I think the issue here is that these vehicles, when spawned, don't have IDs and they're either being cleaned up by the server antihack or by infiSTAR. How can I go about fixing this, does anyone have any input? Thanks a lot guys. Also a bit off topic, but how would I go about purging all spawned vehicles on the server so my database only loads 100? I've got something like 300 on the server right now and that's an extra 200 objects I really don't want in the database but I'm absolutely retarded when it comes to SQL. I'm also having trouble trying to find the vehicle spawn array that the server reads when it spawns new vehicles. I use Vilayer.
  6. Hey guys, I recently had Zupa's custom clothing working really well.. then I installed Door Management and I cannot get the clothes script getList.sqf to function correctly. When I right click on a skin, the dialogue menu pops up, but it isn't populated. This is really pissing me off and I'm hoping that someone possibly has a fix. I looked in my client RPT and here's what I've found: When I checked the getList.sqf, there were no syntax errors at all that could have tripped this and I'm getting frustrated trying to figure it out. Thanks for the help, guys.
  7. Hey, sorry to revive an older thread, but after installing Plot for Life and Door Management, I'm getting these errors in my Client RPT. I have a feeling they have to do with the fact that there are no skins in the list when I go to change skins but I couldn't find any syntax errors. Also, Plot Management seems to go away after I die but that's not relevant to this discussion.

  10. Hey guys. After like a week and a half of trying to get Plot for Life and Plot Management working together without having to redo the whole server, everything works fine. But, I noticed in my RPT that there was a shit load of spam about an undefined variable (_intentory).. now, everything still works just fine but I'd like to get rid of the RPT spam if possible and see why it's spamming. Does anyone have any insight? Also, strangly enough, after dying and coming back, Plot Management does not work. I feel like this may be attributed to the issue in my server_monitor.   14. Alright guys, I fuckin' give up. I didn't want to post here but I have to now. I've installed a shit load of scripts (Plot Management, ZSC, ActionMenu, etc) and I just wanted to install Plot for Life because I know it's a commodity but I can't get it to work. Somehow, for the last week I've been working on this, I've been able to finally make it so I can place a pole down, die, come back and build more. The problem is, I can't upgrade anything there. I've tried to follow instructions from post 547(?) I think but half of the variables in the scripts that I have do not match his. I've used DiffChecker, WinMerge and my own brain to try to figure out how to merge these scripts together (and so far - barring the fact that I can't upgrade shit) I've done well but I can't get this last part of being able to upgrade items going. I'm so damn stressed out and I'm pissed off that I didn't install Plot for Life first. I took all of the custom scripts that I had, merged them with the P4L scripts, changed the directories in my custom compiles (except for the scripts that I didn't have in my custom compiles - they stayed the same as the P4L instructions) and I've been racking my brain trying to figure out WHAT I'm doing wrong. I have no RPT errors, no database errors (I don't think) and I'm sick and tired of trying to get this bullshit to work. Can anyone give me a hand?
