Glad to here you've almost come to a quality worth releasing as alpha. I personally enjoy seeing a project take time as long as the developer is active with those interested. To me it shows that you don't settle for anything but top notch work and that reflects very highly on who you are. I'd just like to thank you for continuously working on this and keeping us updated despite that you aren't getting paid. Best of luck to the development and to long lasting years of ZFM use!!!

Thanks, I appreciate the support. I've been a little busy, but back on development now. I come to the PC, and Arma2OA is corrupted. Bloody windows. Re-install of all ARMA-related stuff, and then back to to work.
Yea I know how that is, had it happen 1 to many times so I ended up just making a backup of epoch, arma, and arma oa so that any time something goes corrupt I can just replace the file. As always stoked to see the end result can't wait to throw it onto our server. Peace -Ndogg

Yea I'm aware of that I was wondering if there was a way that a vehicle with ammo before restart it will have it after restart and if it doesn't have ammo before restart it wouldn't have ammo after restart. Thanks again though for everyone's help and time. -AGN

Well thanks for the heads up, and the vehicles all ready spawn with ammo the you can fire them theres just no smoke screen. Thanks for the help guys

Well basically any and all vehicles are unable to refuel via jerry can or fuel barrel. If you are at a gas station it works fine. I have no clue what so ever is causing this or where to look. This has been happening now for quite some time and any and all help/advice is much appreciated. I'm not sure what information to post further regarding this so feel free to ask me for anything and i'll try to respond with the requested information as soon as possible (I will need to get it from the head coder so it could take a day or two :/ I hope this isn't an inconvenience). Again I really appreciate all your help and any information on the topic is much appreciated, thanks again! -AGN

Hey everyone, just had a quick question regarding infistar. We have the latest update and since we got this it started making all mission boxes deploy a red smoke upon completion. On further investigation I found this to be caused by infistar marking them as hacked boxes. Was hopping someone had a quick fix for me or any info on where I can find a fix. Thanks as always, your help is much appreciated. -AGN

Anyone, anyone at all? Any sort of script that is already out there that does something like this or similar? Maybe something that can make a smoke grenade spawn on top the vehicle when you fire it or a certain distance away? anything helps guys even a simple "this can't be done" just so I'm not looking for the imposible. Thanks as always appreciate all you guys are doing, keep up the great work!

Hey guys just wondering if anyone knew of a way to make vehicles with ammo loaded into them keep the ammo on restart. I was thinking this could be done by something checking if the vehicle does or doesn't have ammo 5 or so minutes before restart. Once it has checked if it does have ammo it would change the vehicle's item id to the one with ammo in ex. the LAV25_DZ has ammo and the LAV25_DZE doesn't, if the vehicle doesn't have ammo it would do vice versa. If anyone has an idea of how this could be done, knows of a already existing script, or any input I would really appreciate your help. Thank you guys for the help and appreciate any support.

Hey man fantastic work defiantly will be getting this soon. Was wondering if you could make it so that vehicles dropped over 50 altitude(would be configurable) deploy a chute and vehicles dropped under 50 alt will take damage from a fall or be set on the ground? Again thanks for the fantastic script and keep up the good work man, cheers!

Hey man great script and like the idea. Quick question, is there a way to make the nodes only spawn in when you reach X amount of players? If there is only a few players on you could just sit there for long periods of time and farm ore's. I appreciate any help or information thanks and cheers!

If i'm not mistaken (don't recognize the users name) but it sounds like the guy is talking about my server and is one of my players (steve) ill post a link so you can see what scripts and server specs we have. As for map addons we have very minimal map addons at the moment. we have 5 very small camps with about 2-3 barracks at each, small changes to each airfield, and a custom stary trader.
As for you Mark88 try and be a little nicer nobody needs degrading comments such as yours. This player went and did this on his own without my knowledge other wise I would have given him all the necessary information. as for the rest of you guys thanks for helping him/me out! cheers!

every item in dayz has an item id. This said multiple vehicles and weapons for that matter have multiple names. The vehicles from missions have a different item name than what the trader buys and sells. say it buys or sells an Mi17_CDF and the mission spawns the Mi17_DZE you would need to add this to the trader as well to be able to sell or buy this variant. Hope this helps man!
