    not directly. They should be allways off, but if a generator is within X meters, and running, they light up edit: Maybe i miss something now someone has denied before, but wouldn't it be possible to just disable all lights in chernarus and let them behave like fuel-stations you can put wherever you want? They work only if a generator is running too... But instead of giving fuel, they just create a radial light...

    Would be nice if it works... I love playing epoch, in a hardcore survival way... So those lights are kinda killing the mood ^^'

Helly everybody =) I have a problem with my HUD: From time to time (couldn't really figure out when exactly because it's somewhat random) the temperature and thirst icons disappear (just a black icon...), and i can't tell if they change: i added a temperature info-text, so my players can see their body-temp - i'm not sure if the temperature is changing after the icons disappeared... I installed namalsk cold weather ( changed files mentioned here - took my own files from the .pbos ) and Enhanced Waterbottle ( here ) as well as Cen's Custom GUI ( ) which have any relation to those two icons... (others are some custom .sqfs, menus, actions, bots, etc... To be clear: I had the problem BEFORE the installation of Cen's Custom GUI aswell... Does anybody know what problem achieves this? Or could give me a direction where i could find something? ^^ Help would be appreciated :D greetings yani

Thanks for putting that stuff together :D edit: works like a charm btw ;) Edit2: Can you point me where i can change the "Restart in (min):"-Label that way it shows the temperature instead (using namalsk and just running the server when my friends and i are playing)? Got it: Changed classes 1422 and 1425 (1425 is the label text) in description.ext. in player_updateGui.sqf: changed all "_ctrlServerRestart" in "_ctrlTemperature" and all "_RestartTime" in "_PlayerTemperature_Amount" ( change it's value at line ~43 to "round(dayz_temperatur)" - without the " ) -> It goes now from 42 (max) to 27 (min) Now i only got the problem that the cold isn't doing anything - but thats about another mod i think... - that random chance... it's working, just got "lucky" when testing ^^ greetz ^^
  6. Just do it like in this Additionally: Get the player_monitor.sqf from your dayz_code/system and place it in your mission (i placed it in custom). Open it and change the path of the player_monitor.fsm (mine is custom/player_monitor.fsm). Open init.sqf and change the path of player_monitor.sqf (could be that you have player_monitor.fsm there... - mine is custom/player_monitor.sqf). Got it working that way ;)

    Tested your new script axeman: Did it with and without antihack -> No lights on streets etc. (but idk if namalsk even has lights ^^ The deployable Light poles still enlight even if there are no generators nearby tho... greetings yani

    Same here Hardened The Solution attempts last year didn't help any further. It must be possible to disable all lights in chernarus, except if you put a generator beneath it... Immersion ftw...

    Sorry was pretty busy last two weeks... Yes i changed it and used your new line (but i had it on true -> requires generator, right?). But my server had a problem where it still "remembered" the old settings somehow (idk how that's even possible if i delete certain added scripts...). I'll try it with the 1.0.4 Update again tomorrow or so. would be very nice if it finally works for me ^^ thanks for your help again :)

    Yes i did, changed it to "true" is it possible that my server somehow "reminds" old files or something? because it doesn't matter if i outcomment the original lightning in epoch or not, it looks exactly the same O_o

    Tested it, just commented out the existing line for the lightning and added you new line at the end of the init.sqf (and put in the files from github in the lights folder) => nothing changed, still all lights on ^^

    I'm having a little bit of a problem with the lightning (or i'm just to stupid to get it right, or it's not meant for that purpose at all xD): I would like to do the following: No lights at all (no street-lights, no house-lights, not even the crafted ones), ONLY if you set up a generator nearby (so you have to create a generator-network to light up a city or your newly made camp xD) Is that possible somehow? My settings at the moment: [0,0,false,false,true,0,100,0,[0.698, 0.556, 0.419],"Generator_DZ",0.1] execVM "\z\addons\dayz_code\compile\local_lights_init.sqf"; Start and end-time are the standard, house and street lights off, generator option yes, to be sure, make the "fail"-chance to zero. - what am i doing wrong? thanks for helping and sorry if i oversaw something obvious... I searched the web for an hour now >.<
