Dedicated sever - hardware

i am running a dedicated server with 4-10 people on, and at the moment i am running it from my PC, but what dows it take to setup a "server" at home?

Is it CPU, RAM or GPU that is important?

GPU isn't t important since it's a server and you can't use the process power a GPU have. RAM is limited to 2047 mb pr. server you run so i would say HDD and CPU. either use SSD or multiple 15K SAS spinning disk. remember to seperate SQL disk from game disk for better performance
