signature timeout problem

Having a lot of people get a wrong signature for file on my dayz.st epoch panthera 1.0.4.2 server...This player is receiving a "you been kicked off the server" message on screen, and the rpt log shows they just disconnect.. Anybody know a fix for Wrong signature?

we had this too.

50% of our players were constantly kicked for "Wrong signature for file...XYZ". Could not figure out why, it only happened after I patched to 1.0.4.2 ...but no one here seemed to have the same problem. In the end I did a clean re-install of 1.0.4.2 . now those kicks are gone.

Important: There are differents between "Wrong signature for file...XYZ" and "Signature Checked Timeout".

 

Wrong signature for file...XYZ: There is maybe a problem with the Download or in the Connection from the Client. Maybe a Firewall is blocking the Check or the Server/Client has no stable Connection.

 

"Signature Checked Timeout": The Message can you find in the Server.log not in the rpt File. First step is to update the Client and Server Files of Battleye manual (http://www.battleye.com/download.html)

Next step: Check the Firewall of the Server. Remove all Scripts from the Server. Dump your Database (just for Tests) and check the MTU Settings (Google -> Arma MTU). If someone tell you its not related to the Server, this Information is wrong. Its maybe a connection Problem. You can also look in the Teamspeak Client Information if the Client have Packet Losts.

This is what my appdata/arma2oa.rpt says...it finnaly kicked me for the wrong signature...

scripts I have installed are infistar antihack "up to date", custom loadout "both normal player and donator", 1.1.0 sarge ai, wai mission, indestructible bases, r3f tow and lift, trader zone god mode/disable gun, auto refuel, halo spawn, water marker, 1.3.4 server welcome credits, 1.4 self bloodbag, custom map markers, added buildings through the editor, and I think that is just about it. I tried to include the version of the scripts also.

it will be related to the massive usage of scripts. Look at your Server FPS. If the server cant handle the massive serversite data and also syncronise the client scripts, the server also cannot work on the battleye checks. (He must not do many much, but if the server is overloaded, he will not get this done)

Remove all scripts or use the normal mission and server files and check if the problem is still there. if not include one script after annother. then you will find the problem.

Server fps is really good..even with all the scripts.. all my player base says they love my server because the good fps they get and the scripts installed...but yeah I will try what you said..try stock pbos and see if that fixs it..on one note I have already disabled sarge ai and people still get the wrong signature.

Did what you said...used default pbos and still people getting kicked for the wrong signature..i also tried full wipe of database and fresh install of the patch and default pbos and still wrong signature kicks...and about the server fps its around 30 fps with 20+ players and all the scripts running and 45-55 with default pbos and no scripts..I am thinking its not any of my scripts or the server.. but the current patch that is messed up...or the map..
