A question about Villas vehicle pack?

I looked into the vehicle pack and seen alot more vehicles that were not in the mod and it got me thinking if the devs left these vehicles in but just didn't activate them in them mod and if it was possible to use the database to spawn one of the vehicles not in the pack?

 

For example the tow truck or one of the custom tanks?.

I asked the same thing a  few days back and got no confirmation. One guy said he tried adding some of the missing vehicles into the database and on the dynamicvehicles.sqf and they still didnt work so either he got the classnames wrong of the missing vehicles or they arent all in the epoch mod yet.

i just realised its only the civ vehicle pack thats included in the mod so im sure you could do that as long as its in the civ vehcile pack

Well there's the full list of the vehicles from the civilian pack. Still a number of them not enabled by default on Epoch. Worth trying manually adding these into the database and seeing if it works.

Kind of off topic but I didn't really want to start a new thread for my question

 

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the BMW7_black and the BMW7_VIP ? Class names aren't 100% accurate but there is a separate bmw titled VIP and I'm not sure if it has any cargo or speed advantages or if it is just named that way

for anyone interested after going through some of the vilas_cpl_core code I discovered that the VIP 7 has better armor. I've yet to test this in game however..

As long as its not a Sherman Tank like the Armored SUV with a damn chaingun on top seems to be.. 

 

The weapon has its place in Predator.. 

 

 

But not Dayz..

I'll try and dig through the arma 2 oa vehicle files to find the armored SUV pmc and compare it

I think the VIP should definitely have a minigun on top.. lol

 

 

Armor on the VIP is 50 but the hitpoints are different and regular BMW has a armor of 20 like the regular cars

 

thats about 20 less than a HMMV and 70 less than the Armored SUV
