New server, dedi server/box...

A little while back I had a few questions regarding running Epoch and Namalsk on a dedicated server...

 

I got quite a few good answers to my questions, but now I have some new ones about the new Sauerland map.

 

One of the answers and suggestions were using this box: http://www.online.net/en/dedicated-server/dedibox-classic

 

 

- What steps are there to be able to get it up and running? Everything from scratch if possible...

   - Tools/Programs needed?

 

 

- Richie also said that I must purchase a windows license to be able to run it... No problem, right? Well how do I purchase it and get it up and running properly...

 

 

 

I have a bit of scripting experience when it comes to adding and adjusting scripts, but only at server providers such as Vilayer and Dayz.st... No experience from dedicated server/box though.

 

 

Few requirements:

- Able to host 50 people on Sauerland with minimal lag/desync

- As cheap as possible, of course

- Europe based, preferably UK, Germany or Netherlands, (France is ok)

- Reliable support and uptime (i've read good things about online.net)

 

 

Probably more, but that's all I have in mind at the moment.

http://webtropia.com  They are located in Düsseldorf/Germany. Ive made the best experience with this host. We run 2 dedicated HP Server from them. The performance is badass.

 

If you have a bit of knowledge you even can install any OS u want via iLo. Thats how i installed my own Windows Server 2008 x64 enterprise on it with my own bought key, and i dont need to pay 20€ a month for a license ;)
