May be my mistake, but i'm getting this after installing when I try to buy vehicles from traders... The vehicles dont spawn, and if I try to sell one, I get the gold but the vehicle stays and I can sell it again and again...

Anything pop out that I may have done wrong? I have 4 builds before this issue adding one mod each build

build1 infistar

build2 overpoch

build3 epochadmintools

build4 ESSV3 <-----This is where the vehicle trading stopped.

My server files came straight from the Epoch Mod.com site download.

It looks like the ESSV3 has had an update since I last downloaded it. Trying to reinstall now and will let you know how it goes.

EDIT: So it looks like this was my problem.

-------- In server_playersetup.sqf I had this line wrong [from an update for 1.0.6.2 i guess]

PVCDZ_plr_Login2 = [[0,respawn_west_original],_state,_randomKey,_worldspace,_randomSpot,([_randomSpot,_playerID] call spawn_config)];

--------- And in this step I changed the line instead of adding it below the existing line.

If using body check, in `dayz_server\compile\server_playerDied.sqf` find

_newObject setVariable ["bodyName",_playerName,true];

Add below:
_newObject setVariable ["bodyUID",_playerID,true];

I'm having an issue with players spawning on the coast. Halo spawn has been working fine for two weeks, and now it is broken. It doesn't happen everytime, just randomly. Any ideas?

Very nice mod, thanks! only problem i have is some players, most of them, after selecting halo spawn, they spawn 30km outside of map boundaries. Where can i start looking to fix this?

Hello, is there a way to make te first new player spawn at the map forced to be ground spawn? we are using an "Claim starterbox" script and it dont work well whit this.. if they halo jump they cant claime..

fixed the old issue was using current ifistar battle eye filters which DONT WORK... i grabbed the filteres off epoch github but is it normal for these mods to not work straight away without filtering the kicks for battleeye seems they should be part the setup of the mod for this mod i required 1 extra addition to the filters but have also found straight up from epoch standalone with no mods you can even talk to trader without getting kicked surely there are stock filters that work

Default epoch filters are designed to work with a DEFAULT epoch server, they do not account for any mods.

Filters can very easily change, the ones on github are the latest up to date which in reality will mean they could have changed since the 1.0.6.2 release

Ok... 3 days and I am still trying and trying so, I come to you guys.

I am trying to implement the spawn selection and the halo-ground. I download it all and follow the step one by one.... but, it gives us an error and we spawn like 35k from the cost (end of the map) with no variables like markes or things we have in the loadout.

I was checking and obviously I am missing somthing, part of that is because we rented the Zap-hosting server and it has to be totally customize and the directory structure they use is different from the one I saw in all what you are writing.

For example, the folder Missions (in this case it is MPMissions) lead you to a folder called: "dayz.epoch.chernarus" and nothing is compiled there in pbo at all (as you can see)

Please, what I am missing in the instructions?...

The latest version of ESSV3 does not support 1.0.6.1. Login scheme is changed in 1.0.6.2.

Upgrade your Epoch to 1.0.6.2

Thank you so much guys.

I discovered that in the hard way and, considering that what the server told us that were going to deliver, was not correct (after renting we was told that they dont give us any support in the mod of the game) we changed server to one that is 1.0.6.2 and that load all the mods, including this one, on our server.

I can do the little tweaks we wanted but the guys are playing and having fun.

Is it possible to use this addon/mod like the old days?.....I want to be able to give players a custom spawn location and custom loadout, but I don't need the GUI. I want to enter it in like the old days and the player never has to do anything. They start the game as usual, if they have a custom spawn and/or loadout, it gets loaded when game is starting. They don't have to do a thing.

I mean like back in the day when I served through vilayer.com, I was able to add the necessary information for a custom loadout and the player didn't have to do anything....it would just load that way. I would like to set my server up to only be that way. If John Doe wants a custom loadout, I enter the information and he gets it when he respawns after death.

You don't need ESS then. Just use the built-in loadout function. Go to init.sqf and edit this code:
