@SideShowFreakis correct in the way to do it, @NateDaBeastif you are still getting that message I would think you did not pack your mission file again after editing

VIP_TOOLS goes in the section with the guns VIP_ITEMS with the ammo.

Having an issue with at least one class (I've only confirmed it for one).

 

It's a public class and people are saying that whenever they try spawning through air, you don't have a parachute.

I'm having a problem where Players that select Halo see a quick flash of the inside of the plane and are then spawned on the ground, in Debug, with their load-out and able to run around and kill each other.  Everyone on the Infistar admin list has never had any problems.  I installed ESS3 on a stock set of PBOs and everything works properly, but when I install Infistar v1438  This happens. I downloaded fresh copies of ESSv3 and Infistar today to make sure I had the latest updates.  I see 1 error in the client rpt below that I can get to not happen If I wait for a few minutes at the choose sex screen and allow for infistar to finish its checks.  Then the player spawns on the ground where he selected, (but not a Halo drop as was selected).  Also the first time I join the server after startup it skips the choose sex screen and goes straight to ESS screens.  I'm currently running my server with Halo turned off and and everything works fine but would like to get this working.  Thanks.

Also when the happens the character_data for the player has empty sets of brackets in Inventory, Backpack, Worldspace, Medical and Current State.

It did stop the spawning in debug but has created an error in the AH.  I think I'll just live without the Halo spawn for now until a better fix is found.  Thanks for the help guys.

Hello, I have tried installing this script on my server Overpoch 1.0.6.1. Followed all the steps and I got it to work. A few days later I installed Infistar and the ESSV3 stopped working. 

Spawn select menu is not showing.
After I die I spawn outside the map.

Did Anyone get this working on Overpoch 1.0.6.1 + Infistar tool?

lwbuk,  Can your players use Halo Spawn without ending up in debug?  The only way I've seen to do this is to change the AH  as shown above, which also causes an error in it.  Or is there something different about Overpoch that allows it to work?

I don't use halo so can't answer that, but everything else works fine. 

Before infistar was updated, players would frequently spawn in debug, or spawn next to their dead body with the same gear they had when they died. 

I fixed this partly by changing the position of the call to start infistar, but since the update  it's all working fine

im running two overpoch servers at the moment and my server rpt is fully error free. my update(or removal) of infistar does not cause any errors on my servers

On my server, I have some load outs restricted by UID and Humanity. I can see the load outs but these two others can't and I double checked their UID's and it still doesn't work. They have the correct humanity also. I had other players test it out too and they can't see them either.

I have made a clean install with Epoch 1.0.6.1 & Tavi 3.0. Eveything works. But now; I want to install essv3!

After install I get allways this RPT-message:

You must have put the load for the spawn menu before your variables.sqf.

Thx for Information; I use files with Build-A-Fixes from the Epochsource with Nitrado.net! Works fine now! Thank you @Hardened

if you're losing your custom skin, you need to make sure your skin is in the AllPlayers variable: https://github.com/EpochModTeam/DayZ-Epoch/blob/master/SQF/dayz_code/init/variables.sqf#L39

As for spawning where you have died, make sure you are using scripts that correctly kill the player, i.e a suicide script or infistar, need to make sure infistar is up to date.
