Snitzle
Been having problems with placing my safes. This has happened 3 separate times now. I tried placing a safe down in a existing Arma building. When I highlight my safe and then click on build the safe appears like it should but automatically seems to place itself. You can't or don't have time to do anything. It places itself and them becomes unmovable and inaccessible. After it places itself when you go up to it the options, "[press 1]" appears. After pressing 1 the next option appears, "[hold space". When you hold space the move icon pops up on the right side. After clicking "MOVE" icon it gives a time ticker. It goes around within 2-4 secs and then pops back up in red, "[press space]" with a small bar time icon. Not sure if it will help but I'll post the pics of each step. You can't do anything else with the safe and after server restart the safe disappears. First thing I thought was ENERGY but I have 2300+ energy so thats not the issue. Sorry it was dark when I took screenshots but you can't still see. The safe on the left placed with no problems. Since then I've tried 2 other times and came up with same prob on 2 different restarts. Safe in question is on the right. When you walk up to the safe this is the "[press 1]" option you get Hold space option Move icon that pops up holding space the timer ticks down After timer stops all you get is this. Can't do anything else with it after that. If you exit build mode and come back all you get is the above image after hitting 1 again. Thanx in advance for your help. Snitzle
Was told by an admin while he was watching me try to put down a safe that it was alerting about a 2 safe limit. This didn't make much sense because I already had 4 safes down at my original base location. I started to think about it and came to the hypothesis that I think this means you can only put down 2 safes in different locations. I think you can put as many as you want at your base location but that only counts it as 1 because its at your base. Then you can put down your 2nd safe someplace else and that would be your second. I can't say this is it with 100% certainty because I haven't be able to test it yet. Next time I'm on I'm going to move my frequency jammer to the other location and see if it allows me to put down more at that location then. vbawol
Hello Snitzle, are you running the latest build 436? https://github.com/EpochModTeam/Epoch/releases
Snitzle
I can tell you that I think its running now but not 100%. I haven't been on in a couple days though so that probably wasn't running a couple days ago when this was happening. Scratch that I have no idea lol BetterDeadThanZed runs the server. I know little to nothing about that stuff.

vbawol
Yes that was a problem with that build. it has since been fixed. All that should be needed to update is the 3 server .pbo's in @epochhive/addons and the mission file for the selected map and BE filters. scripts.txt and deletevehicle.txt
Snitzle
Excellent! I'm sure Zed will see this post and know then. Did you happen to see my other post with a list of buildings missing loot spawns? I have to say I think you're doing a great job with Epoch. It definitely has a more survival feel to it than other mods I've tried. Great job and best wishes going forward.
