Can't access traders.

Hey all. First time poster.

 

I am in the process of setting up a server for a small group of people and have run into a showstopper. I can't access some traders. I can't be certain, but it appears to only be the ones holding a gun that I can't access. By can't access, I mean I never get the initial trader prompt.

 

I have a server with few mods ATM, but they will expand.

 

Installed mods. (want to install about 10 more, but not with it broken as it is now)

 

Wicked A.I.

TradeFromVehicle Version 2.0

DayZEpochDeployableBike

Vehicle Service Point (Axe Cop)

 

 

 

This is running on a dedicated box running windows 8.1.  Core 2 Quad q9550 with 8gb of ram and a 256gb SSD. Everything is a fresh install. Server was setup just 2 days ago. Same with the arma2 files. Latest steam version of ArmaII and Arma II OA. Epoch 1.0.5.1 XAMPP 5.6.8.

 

 

It also at times will not let me into the server. I load and can hear the game, but still just see the splash screen.

 

Both issues are fixed by restarting the server software, but only for one instance. So I can visit one trader city and everything works, but the next time it's broken again. Same with getting on. I am considering colocating the server, but I want it working first.

 

 

Also if you happen to know of a good addon to epoch feel free to suggest one. My server is mainly going to be a PVE server geared towards cooperation and not PVP. So a PVP mod would not be useful.

Ok, found out it's a bug, but no fix it seems. It's an OLD bug too...

Issue: Can't talk to vendors.

Solution: Hold right click to zoom in.

 

We are currently looking into why this is happening.

 

 

This does fix the problem. So I'll go on installing mods.
