[Release] *NEW* missions for WAI 2.2.0

i love these extra missions :-)

 

I have 2 missions on my mind, but i cant make them myself.

 

first, is a sniper version, where there is 1 primary target partially covered, and a lot of hengemen around, but if the primary target is dead, all the hengemen either dissapear or rush your position.

 

Second, is a variant of the patrol mission, but instead of an armed vehicle, it should be the ambulance, and one of the men should be a doctor in hazmat suit, AND every 30 seconds, he spawn a zombie, that targets the nearest player alive, and hunts him down.

That makes it hard to get close to the patrol, but if not, there could be a small hoarde of zombies comming toward you :-)

 

just my thoughts, keep up the work :-)

I swear I was suppose to fix that already. I'll take a look at Napf and other traders on other maps and see what skins are available and then update the files.  Thank you for the heads up.

Found it, in my case it was "TK_Special_Forces_EP1" wich is used by the North Boat Vendor on napf

I try to change the skin to "TK_GUE_Soldier_Warlord_EP1" but I get rpt errors

latest minor fixes = junkyard dirt pile is too high & Ai skins

new missions = secret bunker, meteor, UFO landing, and Where's Waldo.

Hero ArmyBase doesnt complete :/

 

Maybe you teleported to it? missions sometimes wont clear if you TP to them

 

 

I fixed the skins and the dirt pile at junkyard. uploaded the fixes just now.

 

Also the alien mission/event/base will be released later today. There are a few variations that's why I call it a mission/event/base.

 

-a shitty mission

-or a spawnable admin event

-or a mini Ai base at nwaf with a  teleport machine that moves you into a tiny room inside the shitty alien ship where the loot box is located. When you scroll on the exit it will TP you to 1 out of 5 random locations around nwaf (because you damn well know people are gonna camp that shit,, :ph34r:

 

-There's also a scroll option to bomb the shit out of the Ai base via airdrop.

-you can take it further by adding that nuke script. I have a less laggy version without the ash and dust storm.... just pm me and ask for it. if you want to add this to the mission/event/base

Im having issues with missions not clearing too, and it was hapenning before i installed all  your missons.  The only error in my RPT that i get for WAI is:

The other WAI mission do not seem to be spawning more then one mission at a time now, with really long gaps in between another one spawning.  I have looked at the .RPT/web console and this is the only WAI stuff I see

Also on a side note is there away to make more then two WAI missions spawn at on time?  I was thinking maybe 3 at once.

im having a issue with missions not clearing too. I tried changing the percentage of AI needed to be killed to 80% and some still wont clear.  So i decided to revert back to the Original WAI missions.  Still the same issue.  So i know its not cavemans fault that some are not clearing.

Did you guys read the part of this thread that talks about infiSTAR changes?

yes i did, the CUF part right?

I even found a thread that said there was a extra ";" in one of the WAI files, removed that.

Any RPT errors (warning/error)?

Are you teleporting to the missions (within the mission marker) and completing them, or walking up? 

No RPT errors, that is the weird part.  And no its the player base complaining that they don't complete.

One thing i have done, is removed the options for the AIs to have RPGs, and also clearing the RPG if he did have one.  Put both those options to false.  And it seems to have done good so far.  Only had a couple missions no clear, compared to half.

The only RPT error i get for WAI is "Bad Vehicle Type", when spawning the static missions, and its in regard of the static  gunners, the kords and M2's.
