Namalsk for Arma 3

I've seen a few posts of people working on it or port it yourself, the Epoch team will never fully support it though, it's made by a community author and needs permission, Chernarus for example is a BIS terrain so no permission issues.

Will this beauty of a map, be fixed in Arma 3? it certainly needs little love and attention to come to life in Arma 3!

Someone already has sumrak's permission to port Namalsk to A3, they haven't released anything yet.

 

 

OT:

 

Since your so into terrains - going by your numerous posts about the topic on these forums and BI forums.

 

Why not create your own? - Try a 5km x 5km Island to get started.

 

 

Then you might appreciate just how much effort goes into one and then maybe you will halt your various insulting forays into terrain authors threads on BI Forums offering what you see as "constructive criticism" when it is nothing more than disrespectful comments, bad manners and trolling of content authors - most of whom give a TON of stuff back to the community for free off thier own backs as well as giving thier insight/assistance to other people working on Arma projects, again for free because they want to help educate others by sharing thier knowlege - something obviously you have no concept of.

 

 

TLDR; Quit going into content authors threads and slating thier work when you have zero knowlege of content creation in Arma.

Slate someone's work? not really, some terrain builders can't handle a tip, I put a very good constructive criticism about someone's terrain,  they turned it into a personal attack and I made my feelings known about that.. I am well aware of you who you are talking about, and I know it got out of hand. mainly on their part and the replies.  Now I don't think it's your place to comment on that here when it was on a different forum outside this.. why not reply there? 

 

You have seen many of this? where ? outside Terrain discussion thread? well it's the first post of this kind in this thread "Terrain Discussion" where terrain discussions should be.. If it's against epoch forum rules then they should delete my post simple!

 

There are a lot of terrain builders/gamers that can put 10 hrs plus a day, i can't !!! that's simply why I can't start a project like this, however what I can do is make a case that Arma 3 needs a good winter map, hopefully other people agree and maybe someone who has time and looking for a project will take it on, and if others don't think arma 3 needs a winter map because of X. Y , Z then it great we listen to those comments too!

Hey Richie, it's already available on Arma 3, it can be ported easy too! I have it set up as far as an epoch server goes, however in arma 3 it has a number of terrain bugs, I am not asking for epoch support for this, I can take care of that... I want it fixed for other server owners so we can play too...

 

it's the terrain itself that needs some TLC, not an epoch thing!

It'll be the namalsk.h file, the server side file that spawns in the traders, spawn discs plus some ATM for banking :)

 

lol i know that!!

 

I am just wondering if any of those are building placement to fix the invisible objects on the map, something i thought about doing is placing a solid object on top of . I can create one of those myself in 2 mins. 

 

I was just wondering why the random share and if there is fixes for the map which is why he shared this file.
