Unable to get hive to start

-CJ-

Question

I've been trying to get a 2nd server running on an OVH dedicated box, but have run into a problem of the hive not starting on the 2nd server. All of the files seem to be installed in the proper place, one server and it's database are on C: drive, while the other server and it's database are on the D: drive. There are 2 instances of MySQLDB running, one on each drive. They are listening on ports 3306 and port 3308. The ports show as open and the servers are allowed through the firewall.

I can run one or the other and they run fine, but if I try to run the 2nd, the hive does not start. The 2nd server will accept clients but the hive never starts.

I can use HeidiSQL and connect to both of the databases using the hive cfg username and pw info. There is no hive rpt as it never starts, and server.rpt will just show a server hang on user with no id.

Can somebody point me in the right direction as I have not been able to find a solution to fix this problem.
