where is the player location marker setting ? Or where is the difficulty settings?

SC then config file "difficulty = "recruit" its line 44 according to np++

I am on a hosted server what is the SC I thought it meant server config but my noob ass was wrong. Thanks for all the help.

Looking at this and this, it seems you can tweak the exact settings of each difficulty. From a brief glance, it looks like you can make it mark the player on the map, but it will also show other people that the in-game player spotted, even though the person behind the computer may not have seen them. I'm sure there could be a script that does exactly what you want though.
