Ryansgotacbr Posted November 20, 2014 Report Share Posted November 20, 2014 ill make this short and sweet, i think the loot "bubble" has to be altered a bit to make it feel more consistent. when im going through a town by myself sometimes ill get lucky and hit A house with loot in every corner but more times than not im just running around an empty building. ive try lots of different ways to move up to said town and to be honest i cant get any repeatable ways to spawn the loot. maybe i just suck at it but im not the first to bring this up, and ive never heard anyone complain about this in any other arma/dayz game. and on a different note i think revive player should be taken out of epoch. the whole survival bit is lost when somebody can run up to a dead body and revive him. it makes firefights very awkward when you have to camp a dead body while somebody in the opposing group is flanking your position. CrazyMike Posted November 21, 2014 Report Share Posted November 21, 2014 For the loot: I have found if you jog slowly into or towards a town in a straight line you will have a greater chance at spawning loot. If you still have trouble, try sitting staring in one direction - that always fixes it for me. As for the player revive - once they have it implimented right - the multigun with attachments should become more rare. This will only allow those hardcore looters to gain access to one. Ryansgotacbr Posted November 26, 2014 Author Report Share Posted November 26, 2014 i understand that more people makes more loot, but trying to spawn loot as just one guy sucks. for example if youre in a group and you all RUN to pygros military youre gonna be loaded when you leave. if youre alone and you do the same you MIGHT get like one tower to spawn something, so that means i have to crawl into the base to get a gun, but a big group and run in and out like its nothing? Well, it's a little bit faster for a group, yes, just because someone is always first and by the time all are there - loot already began to spawn. But still it takes some time.
