Delo
Hi All, I just setup my DayZ Epoch server everything works fine but when the first person joins lots of information spam appears in the console log and it kills my HDD - it seems to be loading stuff from the database but I'm not sure... The sort of stuff it says is: 9:46:18 HiveExt(0); [information] Method: 303 Params: 218 9:46:18 HiveExt(0); [information] Result ["PASS]" That repeats and sometimes shows items names too. Any ideas what this is or how to turn it off as it seems to be writing it to a log file and killing my HDD's performance..

0 Snowmobil
How do you know its killing your HDD's performance?
0 Delo
With nothing else running except the server and it logging the Hive the HDD light is on constantly and task manager is reporting it as using about 80-90% of the write speed of the HDD. Once the logging stops then the performance is back to normal. In all fairness, after running the server a couple more times it seems to have improved quite a lot. 0 Revoplay
But the logging is not everything: If a log comes up, it also makes a sql querry and get data from the Database and so on.
