Database Structure/Organization?

I currently have a dedicated private server running 1.63.125548 and Epoch 1.0.5.1. I play on Napf and it's running flawlessly. I have a question about the database structure though.

 

I use Xampp and Navicat Lite to run my database. I have a connection called "Will", and the database is "dayz_epoch".

 

Can I have multiple databases under one connection name....like "Epoch" for the connection name, and "Napf", "Lingor", etc., for the databases?

 

Or should I have a connection named "Napf" with the "dayz_epoch" database, and then separate connections for the other maps?

 

Am I saying this right? :/

So, the connection/database could look like:

 

Epoch (connection name)

  Napf (database)

  Lingor (database)

  etc

 

As long as I change it in the Hiveext?

The database names will be unique for each map in the hivext.ini. You can have a single user own all your map db amd have each map connect to it. I run eight maps all owned by the same user. I just change the database name for each maps hiveext.in.
