Whitelist question

Hello all, I am having a lot of trouble with hackers recently and i'm thinking of whitelisting, But I need a fool proof installation guide i have seen https://github.com/deadfred666/DayzWhitelisterPro

 

but I cant get my head round the sql stuff, i have dayz.st and ive added my own traders and items and stuff so i know my way round a little bit.

Yeah, ive seen that, thanks dude, I dont know how to 'Open release\installSQL\WhitelistInstall.sql and execute against your database' i find the sql file but dont know what to do with it

Firstly, I am assuming that you are using phpmyadmin, if not, then I don't know and someone else will have to help you that knows the specific application that you are using.

 

1. Login to PHPMyAdmin.

2. Go into your database that you are using for your server. You should see all the tables and stuff created for the server.

3. Click import at the top and browse for the sql file.

4. Run it and it will change some of the tables/append to what's already there.

 

Basically, you are just importing into your database from an SQL file, that's what they mean by "execute it against your database".
