For a while, we've suffered a few players here and there saying they have no zeds or loot spawning, either when they join our server for the first time, or after respawning or relogging and the issue randomly appears. There can be other players online at the same time, not encountering this issue.
- Two or three players encounter it all the time
- Two or three players encounter it sometimes
- Half the players never encounter it
I have this in my RPT log as the only possible clue.
9:06:53 "DISCONNECT: Numbass (xxxxxxx) Object: B 1-1-D:1 (xxxxxxx) REMOTE, _characterID: 72 at loc [120.206,158.299,40.5765]"
9:06:53 "ERROR: server_playerSync: Cannot Sync Player Numbass [72]. Position in debug! [120.206,158.299,40.5765]"
This is from a disconnect just before the player arrived back a few minutes later and then ran around for 30 minutes seeing no loot or zombies, before then giving up. I have checked my server_playersync.sqf, it is unedited from the stock file. My database writes fast, I've stress-tested it on many occasions. We also do stuff like run 100m, quickly log out, log back and we're in the correct position. Gear is saved, inventories aren't getting wiped - at any point. We have customised loot tables but I've tried running stock loot tables, no change. Anyone have a clue?
