This would probably cause people to carpet bomb a base in the hopes of killing the owner, so that you could easily block entrances or place down your own pole to claim it. While it would be cool for a "Capture the Base" type of event, I would be pissed if I had spent 5 days building up my base by chopping wood and finding Cinder, only to have a happy sniper kill me and take it over.
