Good day. I'm trying to setup a private epoch server, however i've run into an issue with Battleye. There are very few posts on the internet about this exact error (Battleye Initialization Failed), but I have tried everything I could find.
Specs
----
Windows Server 2008 R2
Steps to reproduce
----
Installed Arma 2, Operation Arrowhead, and OA Beta via Steam
Manually Installed the mod into the OA folder
Copied the mod server files to a dedicated folder, along with Arma 2 and OA
I removed the ReadMes and other clutter like directx
Copied and edited the Chernarus configs, and bat file to the root of the folder
Ran the Chernarus bat.
Suggestions tried
----
Installing Battleye from the folder
Running the server using an administrative account
Removing the OA folder from AppData
Copying in a different order i.e. Arma 2 and then OA or OA and then Arma 2
The wiki information on setting up a server put it in an even worse state than 3rd party videos I had to watch. The server log was equally unhelpful (it would be nice to know WHY it couldn't be initialized).
