    Static ammo crate

    As some of you know the newest WAI update no longer supports static ammo crates. I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to pull certain scripts/files from the older version to make a system made to just spawn in a few static crates throughout the map? or a way to merge and edit some files from old to new to make it work again? i tried the 1st but i dont really know what im doing so it was a fail lol. I need this to work for my Bandit/Hero ai camps. without the crates its really not worth people risking heli/vehicle patrols and a 12 man paradrop to raid the camps. Im ok with editing out the missions from the original as well if there is a way to make them work alonside one and other. ANY help is appreciated, thank you in advance!

    In the HiveExt.ini if I wanted to set the time to say 1415, would you set it as 1415, 14:15 or does it have to be on the hour?     DZAI static spawns

    Is there a way to comment out a spawn point in DZAI so they do not spawn in certain areas like the airstrip on Napf?

  8. Hello everyone. I made a script for my server were their is a static loot crate that will spawn at a static missions. The script works, it spawns in with the loot but for some reason when I put it on the server and not on my local system it's lower then normal (If the crate is on the ground and you can not longer see it, if it is in a building it is 1 floor down in the roof), But this only happens for me, Everyone else can see it in the right location.   9. I want to have these in a high end trader so one can buy these to use as base defence or even spawn build the static weapon from scratch? not sure how to get this into the game unless using infistar spawn tools
  10. This is Enhanced Vehicle Deployment - retooled for deploying mounted weapons. I do not take credit for any of the script. I just made a how-to because a few people asked for it. http://youtu.be/oASs2_RUX88 Features: Right click on gems to deploy mounted weapons. Emerald excluded. Easy to configure any way you want. Topaz = DSHkM .50 cal Citrine = M2 .50 cal Amethyst = KORD .50 cal Sapphire = AGS Grenade Launcher Ruby = MK19 Grenade Launcher Obsidian = GMG Grenade Launcher The .50 cal guns have optional tripod sizes: high or mini. The grenade launchers just have minitripods. Most of the ammunition for these weapons can be found in ammo crates. Excluding KORD ammo. Repack Weapon into gem form. Deploy and repack as many times as you want. Anyone can pack the weapons if it's unlocked. Requires a toolbox Also allows packing of M240 nests into M240Nest_Kit. Requires a toolbox Stop deployment by moving. Prevent packing of destroyed deployable vehicles. Prevent packing of locked vehicles. Materials are dropped on the ground when packing like the other remove actions (workbench, wreckage, weapons crates) instead of automatically added to the player's inventory. Again in variables.sqf find this line: DZE_safeVehicle = StaticVehicleArray + ["ParachuteWest","ParachuteC"]; and add "StaticVehicleArray + " without the quotes, as I did. Step 8. In your custom fn_selfActions.sqf, find this: // All Traders and above it add: Step 9. In your init.sqf, find this: MaxMineVeins = 0; and set it to 0, as I did. Or at least a very low number. Step 10. Download the attachment and copy the Scripts folder to your mission pbo, where the init.sqf is. Dropbox Notes: More then one player can deconstruct and get items from a single ore vein. So groups of players can easily exploit them for gems if you do not limit the MaxMineVeins. You can spawn in mine veins using Gold_Vein_DZE for missions or events or well defended areas for rewards. You can add the gems and the ammo to the traders. If you want something to give the sledgehammer new meaning, consider this: I've played with it and about 95%+ of the time it just breaks the tools anyway. Otherwise I would recommend finding some new creative use for the sledge, rather than removing it. If I can find a good item to use for searchlights I will add it to the download. You could I guess change the KORD to be searchlight. Feel free to change things to suit your needs. I know that this could have been done in 3 files or less, instead of 11. I admit I am a very novice at this. It's the best I could do at the moment. I've tested it on my server and seems to be working on
  11. Hello, i have a Problem with my wai the static spawns wont work. I Upload the Server.pbo.   12. I am having trouble getting the static missions to spawn, vehicle patrols, para drops and such.. I have copied and pasted and edited coords and a few other things to suit my needs.(this worked for previous version) No Luck on the newest release.   13. How do I set up the Wicked AI static mission system to cleanup and respawn, say 1 hour, after a player enters the zone around the mission or a player completes it. As it sits, only 1 mission spawns at the static areas per restart but i'd like for these to be an ongoing thing that players can do at any time. Any help is appreciated
  14. So I had an idea to create some sort of bandit raid area, where you would need a large group of people to take down a giant bandit base. My only problem is, through my searches of AI scripts and missions scripts, I cannot seem to find one that offers the option of spawning a bandit group, in a position, selected by the server admin, preferably when a person gets within say, 2500 metres of said area. Does anyone know if a mod like this exists, from what ive read about Sarge_AI, Wicked_ai, and DZAI, the most found scripts while searching, none of them offer what I seem to want. If anyone has any information, or just something to point me in the right direction, please let me know. I am running a DAY Z EPOCH NAPF Server. Appreciate it.
  15. All i have done here is take an older version of WAI and removed some things and editited a few things to make it work along side of the newest release and give back the crate options. I take no credit for this at all. Just something i did on my server and decided to share it. Install instructions are in read me. This is preconfigured with quite a few weapons. Just about all from epoch (thermals included) and a ton of great overwatch guns including both cheytac variants as well as most thermals. The crate is different each restart.   16. Guys, I wanted to add that nice "service point" (repair & refuel) icons on the map and I found the sqf code to add the icons but couldn't find the map coordinates for fuel stations. Then after some more search I found the code but this time I couldn't figure which one is which so I teleported myself to each fuel station on Chernarus 11 map (took a while). Sharing the resulting work so that others -hopefully- can save time. Please note the original file is not my work, I only used teleport to identify which one is which. Also, I got bored after a while and left mapping work at Fuel Stations (that's what I needed really). Fuel Points (i.e.: fuel tanks on map) are still in the document, further down, but they are unnamed - if you need their names enojy the TP :) Thanks And here is a picture if you wish to take a look or publish it on your web/forums for your players. The big red circles are Service Points. Small icons are Fuel Sources.
  17. Hey! So I've got a trader selling static weapons using trade_any_bicycle (database reference) which makes it unlocked and without a key when you purchase it. However, when I restart the server they are all coming up locked... so I'm thinking ideally I could just have them all unlocked at server restart... To me this should work... does anyone see any flaws? I'm not sure where to put it... server_publishObjects? server_publishVehicles? I tried to get this to work but so far no luck, please help

    About server weather?

    I've noticed that there are many servers that have a clear bright weather all the time. On my server there are clouds all the time and the weather feels depressing. Could someone guide me on how to set my weather so that it would be clear all the time? Thanks!
