  1. I was wondering if there was still a script going around to attach a chemlight to your character, by using a right click action, if you had chemlights in your inventory. I this script isn't a thing anymore, would it be hard to make? Thanks!
  2. On my Chernarus map, players are not receiving humanity after killing AI. I am talking about the ones that spawn on you. Have the following set as: //Amount of humanity to reward player for killing an AI unit (Default: 0) DZAI_humanityGain = 50; Nothing in server RPT or client RPT Any thoughts
  3. Hello everyone, I'm posting today because I have a issue on my OverPochIns server. I'm running Epoch 1.0.5.1, Origins 1.7.9.5 and Overwatch 0.2.5 + Infistar v1411 and a few scripts. I have a problem at each restart of the server, every vehicle on the map appear for all players (see screenshot). I have no idea where it's coming from but it's very bad stuff... Can somebody help me with this ? Any idea from where it can come ?

  5. Hello epoch players! I have a server that has been up for about a week or so, however, as the title explains people are having problems joining. I have some of my friends join without a problem, while others have had multiple problems, now here is the kicker. I use DART for my server to get a player list and also it use for administrating. I can see random people attempting to join but this is ALWAYS the message I receive from dart. [2015-01-04 | 22:29:00] Player #9 Player (************************* IP) connected [2015-01-04 | 22:29:01] Player #9 Player - GUID: ******************************* (unverified) [2015-01-04 | 22:29:01] Verified GUID (**********************) of player #9 Player [2015-01-04 | 22:29:02] Player #9 Player - Legacy GUID: ************************* [2015-01-04 | 22:29:05] Player #9 Player disconnected So I know people are trying to join but they do not get to the main lobby. (I know this because the server RPT does not even know that these people have entered due to it actually taking note of players when they have successfully reached the lobby) No here is the big problem... I can't figure it out... and without actually getting feedback from players that are not able to join, (which is impossible on account of me being unable to get in communication with these random players) I cannot get a reasonable lead on what the problem would be. Here is some info: The server shows up in gametracker: http://www.gametrack....101.169:64817/ The server also shows up in dayz launcher, however it has problems updating the player count and does not show the ping... The server does show up in dayz commander but it does not state that the server is hosting 1.5.0.1 epoch on it. I have downloaded dayz epoch from the official torrent file "dayz_epoch" Now I think dayz launcher downloads the dayz epoch file but names it something like dayz_epoch1051 or something (would that cause problems?) If some of you could try to join: 167.114.101.169:64817 and see if you can post the error on this post I would be forever grateful.
  6. Dear friends, We have a server running on a linux device but the files are in a windows emluator and everything works fine. The server is showing up in "Remote" and on DayZ commander... As well on http://arma2.swec.se/server/data/567839 The problem is that the launchers can't seem to find active players. As you see on the site it says that Player time is still 00:00:00 We are out of luck with this problem and I can't seem to find a solution. I tried Dayz Launcher but the server there isn't even recognized... If any of you knows a solution it would be very nice! Thank you, Defay -EDIT- As you can see the Gametracker banner below doesn't work anymore as well. And it as well didn't show active players at the time it worked.

  8. We have started to get bug reports from our players, stating that they spawn as fresh spawns even though they didn't die before they logged off. I have looked at the rtp for errors about this but not found anything. This started to occur after the 1.63 update...
  9. The request is bounty hunting in Epoch. I have a couple of ideas how to take this out, but is there anyone around who can maybe make it happend, would benefit alot! :) The whole system evolves around the players who kill others. For this to work what will be needed is a new trader, and maybe some new items. Trader: You can talk with him, put a bounty on someones head, collect bounties, or buy bounty hunter items. New items: Dog Tags: This is the first item that is needed. How this works is: If a player kills someone else, he will drop his dog- tags, but if killed by a Zombie or an AI it wont drop. That makes dog tags able to tell who killed who, then if there is a bounty on a persons head, you can return that persons dog tags to the bounty trader, and recieve your reward (the bounty amount that is on the head of the person) The person who killed the individual with the bounty can collect the reward, but if he himself is killed while on the way to the bounty trader, the dog tags of the bountied person can be picked up, and returned by their "new owner" - However, efter the person who holds the dog tags dies to a Zombie or an AI then the dog tags will dissapear and bounty remain on the head of the bountied player. Item's at the trader: If you kill several bountied players (4-6), without killing an "innocent" you will be rewarded access to the traders armory, (For cash of course) - Where low, medium, and very few high caliber can be bought for gold. You can either make a bounty on someones head, or it will come eventually if he kills enought people. Putting a bounty on someone: If you put a bounty on someones head, you will need to pay the trader money, the bounty put on the player, is half of the amount payed to the trader. Paying the trader 10oz gold = Player 5oz gold bounty. BUT! If the person you want to put a bounty on is already wanted, then the bounty rises with the amount you put on him. (Example. He already has a bounty of 5oz gold, you pay trader 10oz gold, and now his bounty has risen to 10oz gold, because he already had a bounty of a certain amount) Naturally wanted: A naturally wanted person is a person wanted because he killed other players. After someone has killed 3 players, without dying to a another player, (as said, zombies and AI does not count!) - He recieves a bounty of 5oz gold, and will rise with 5 for every player he kills from here on and out, until bounty is collected! If a person while having 2 kills on his head, dies to another player, those two kills are erased! - BUT! - If the bounty is awarded on his head, it wont be removed until someone has collected his dogtags and taken them to the bounty trader! I hope you liked the idea, and i hope someone can make this happend, i think the idea is great myself (but ya, don't we all when we come up with ideas?) - If you have ideas on how to improve please let me know. I would like to see the bounty system come online since it would enchance the way people think before killing someone, and actually give a worth to heroes, who normaly does not kill other players!   10. Hi! I think that I'm doing something wrong here, I need a little help. I have two machines. My server (Windows 2008 R2 64 bits) and my PC (Windows 2008). I have installed DayZ on my PC and I can play in any server. My Windows 2008 is my server at my home. He is my gateway too. This week, I have made a private server and installed on the Windows 2008 R2 64bits. Everything works works fine. players can connect from internet, the server are being listed on gamespy and on DayZ Commander, until I connect to the game by my Local Network. When I do that, all the players connected to the server are disconnected, the server stops to listen on gamespy and dayz commander and only me can join to the server. If I close the server and start it again, everything starts to work normally, until I connect again from my PC through local network. I really don't know what to do anymore. Thanks very much!!
