Hi all, I have tried to install epoch on to one of my Ubuntu Server systems, I have been able to get to the lobby but upon mission start the server falls over, and starts to restart itself endlessly, I am launching using the startup script included in the server install files directory. I have validated that the redis server is active and I can connect to it from another machine on the network. I have searched the FAQ and a number of threads for a solution but can't seem to crack it. Here are some excerpts of the logs where it seems to fall over each time.   2. The short version When the server restarts vehicles reset back to where they were originally were and back to the original state they were in before the restart. Longer version Example. So I take a car drive it from Cherno to the airfield and put some gear in it and shoot out a tire then restart the server, it will be all the way back in cherno in its original condition and without any gear. If I spawn a vehicle and move it to another location and restart the server it will still be there in what ever state I left it in. But then it starts acting like all the other vehicles, always reverting to that spot. So it must only be saving the vehicles the database once after the first restart that they are on the server for then it doesnt update them again. I thought it might be a problem with the server monitor.sqf and replaced it with a fresh one, which did not help. I also tried using the monitor.sqf from my other server that is working just fine and that didn't do anything either. If anyone else has any idea on what to do the help would be much appreciated.   3. Hey! I have on my DayZ Overpoch server that Coin Script from Souls installed. But after restart other players have negative sums (Money). My Bank working without problems. Only the money at account. I found this: But i not working. (sry for my bad english... i hope u can understand it)
  4. Found that happening in some cases on vanillla 0.3.8 19:05:22 Scripting function 'bis_fnc_execvm' is not allowed to be remotely executed Its only used to initPlayerServer.sqf execution, but still want to know if its global issue, or local for me.

  6. Hello, I bought a GTX server then bought infistar and put it on my server, everything works great but when i spawn in the crates at the bottum for the spawn it menu everything spawns outside the box and causes lag, any help with a fix to this would be great. It is an overpoch server fyi.
  7. Hey guys, I recently had Zupa's custom clothing working really well.. then I installed Door Management and I cannot get the clothes script getList.sqf to function correctly. When I right click on a skin, the dialogue menu pops up, but it isn't populated. This is really pissing me off and I'm hoping that someone possibly has a fix. I looked in my client RPT and here's what I've found: When I checked the getList.sqf, there were no syntax errors at all that could have tripped this and I'm getting frustrated trying to figure it out. Thanks for the help, guys.
  8. Hi! I'm having a small issue with my DayZ Overpoch server... A few days back we were playing on the server just fine when the server crashed due to an unknown error, now only I can find the server whereas my four other players cannot.
  9. Hey people, got a bit of a problem here. I installed the "Single currency (Souls 2.0) With Fixes All In One And More (v0.5)" and I keep getting errors within my RPT logs of which results in no one receiving coins for trading. I have tried reinstalling the script and also checking to see if I can find any errors.   10. hey guys, have a little problem... i had that script running on my server and then i updated to Overpoch. Now the data is not saving anymore.   11. Alright, as far as I am aware I have everything installed correctly. I'm doing this on a local Overpoch Server that is running the latest version of infiSTAR if that matters. The issue is, every time I try to spawn in one of my admin boxes from the menu I get kicked from the server by battleye. The thing is, I have my createvehicle.sqf properly setup as far as I'm aware. This is how we have it setup on the ViLayer server and it's working...
  12. We run our server through survival servers, We have never had trouble before and we would love to run epoch on our server. Its something we were looking forward to. We started the server on Bornholm and thought okay everything will be fine. Well the server wasnt showing in the server list so we submitted a ticket and they said clear launch parameters. So we did, still nothing, I launched it on Altis thinking just using a base mod no addon would maybe fix it. But still nothing showing in the multiplayer we cant even remote connect. If anyone that knows about this issue or can help please do so. Thank you

  14. So I'm not sure that this is the correct place to put this, as I couldn't really find a spot for it. If this is in the wrong place, please move it. As the title states, I cannot type into the console window. It connects to the server just fine, etc. But it will not let me type. In the newest patch when a exploding zombie/monster or whatever you call it spawns and it "fixes" on you, the chat is spammed by some counter which seems to count seconds or something, it spams it like 7-10 times in a second. My friend had the same problem when a exploding thingy spawned "on him". Very annoying but kind of helpful for knowing who's it following hehe.
  17. So I installed Maca's CCTV script: https://github.com/maca134/dayz-cctv It works perfectly for myself however everyone else gets stuck in the camera view. This seems to have something to do with Infistar and I am fairly sure that an exception needs to be added however as the CCTV mod is old and dated, I cannot find anything about it.   18. On my server all of the custom cities have spawned in twice. There is no visual impact, however when trying to open a door you have to open it multiple times in order to enter. I presume this is due to the server reading the spawn command in two different locations however I do not know where! Any help would be awesome. My custom buildings are kept in the: vilayercodecustom\dayz_epoch\buildings\ : http://prntscr.com/37rprn \dayz_epoch\init\server_functions.sqf. : http://prntscr.com/37rpcl As you can see in this screenshot: http://prntscr.com/37rrxp the doors of the fire-station open and reveal more doors. This only applies to the custom buildings, not the default. This issue has also only just started happening

  20. Im not very good at scripting, barely know what I'm doing but whenever someone enters an AI mission vehicle it explodes. I know it's to do with server_cleanup.fsm (I think) but I'm not sure why it won't work, as I said I barely know anything when it comes to scripts.   21. So Im trying to run panthera, copied the latest keys across from, downloaded and updated everything as usual. Getting the error ibr_plants.pbo ibr_rn.pbo panthera2.pbo are not signed by a key accepted by this server. Dont know why im still getting this, copied the keys correctly into a Keys folder which is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead Should be right? I temporarily disabled signature file check and only let people I know join to test it out, I then discovered there was another problem.. We are getting frequent red desync's, around every 5 mins we get a red chain lasting maybe 20 seconds - this is only with <10 players, dont know if it has an effect on playing but I would really like to know if anyone has a solution for this, I can provide anymore information thats needed, thanks.
  22. Have been having an issue with mission vehicles being destroyed by the cleanup when a player enters 6:20:01 "CLEANUP: KILLING A HACKER - B 1-2-G:1 (-) REMOTE IN HMMWV_DES_EP1" Only been happening since this update, anyone know how I can fix it :/
