    heli fast rope

    Hi guys, I can't seem to find the heli fast rope / rappell script, I know it was active on the 1.0.5.1 and for arma 2 but not seen anything for recent. If anyone has a working plugin I would be much obliged!
  2. Hey Guys, I'm running an Arma 2 Dayz Overwatch server with GTX, problem I'm having is that the server gets dark really quick. I'm wanting to have bright sunny days but it's always very overcast and within one hour of restarting it's already getting towards dusk. I have Infistar installed and I have checked my Hive.ext.ini and can't seem to locate why there would be a problem. My server restarts every 3 hours 3 6 9 12 etc. GMT/UTC. Can anyone be so kind as to tell me what I must do please? Thanks.

This Tutorial will teach you how to alter/change or remove trader animations for faster trading Requirements: * Basic knowledge of unpacking pbo's * Custom compiles * Common sense * Text Editor (notepad++) Installation (If you already have a compiles file, Skip to #4 please) 1) Open your dayz_mission.pbo and open init.sqf Find: call compile preprocessFileLineNumbers "\z\addons\dayz_code\init\compiles.sqf"; //Compile regular functions Replace it with: call compile preprocessFileLineNumbers "fixes\compiles.sqf"; //Compile regular functions 2) Now make a folder called fixes 3) copy this file into the fixes folder ..\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\@DayZ_Epoch\addonsdayz_code.pbo\init\compiles.sqf (if you already have a custom compiles.sqf, start here) 4) Open fixes/compiles.sqf Find: call compile preprocessFileLineNumbers "\z\addons\dayz_code\compile\player_traderMenuHive.sqf"; Replace it with: call compile preprocessFileLineNumbers "fixes\player_traderMenuHive.sqf"; 5) Copy this file into your fixes folder ..\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\@DayZ_Epoch\addonsdayz_code.pbo\compile\player_traderMenuHive.sqf 6) Open fixes/player_traderMenuHive.sqf Find: _File = "\z\addons\dayz_code\actions\" + _afile + ".sqf"; Replace it with: _File = "fixes\trade\" + _afile + ".sqf"; 7) Make a folder called trade inside the fixes folder 8) Download the appropriate file for your server and extract them inside the traders folder Epoch Epoch With Zupa 1.1 Single Currency Epoch With Soul's Edit 9) Repack and you're done :) Configuration If you leave the way you installed it, it will be ready to go on the server. On my version of code, instead of the medic animation, it will do a pickup or lean animation which is way quicker than the medic animation. however if you want to modify it to your likings, you may do so very easily. To Change the animation of trading Open every file inside the fixes/trade folder Find: player playActionNow "PutDown"; and replace "PutDown" with any other animation you like. Check this link for almost all the arma animation To Remove the animation of trading Open every file inside the fixes/trade folder Find: player playActionNow "PutDown"; Remove the line whole line, to simple get rid of the animation. Hi, I run my server in a Xeon E3 1240 v2 processor and it have this 3 configurations. 1) 4 cores at 3.6 Ghz each 2) 3 cores at 3.7 Ghz each 3) 2 cores at 3.8 Ghz each Currently i'm using option 3). I had take a look on more expensive Xeon processors, and most of it have Ghz slower than 3.8 (a lot slower!) but on the other hand they have more cores and more cache memory (a lot more!). I feel stuck, since Ghz is the most inportant factor, i can't find nothing considerable better than 3.8 Ghz. You guys know if more cache memory (15, 20 or even 35 mb!) can increase significantly the Epoch server performance? Those very expensive Xeon processors with 2.5 Ghz, 3.0 Ghz or 2.0 Ghz and more cache memory are a way to go? Thankyou!
  6. I've searched and searched and searched all to no avail. I'm curious as to how it works/how to enable it. Anyone? edit: another question while i'm here - where the hell is my beconfig file supposed to go/where is it? I'm using the epoch server package running napf and no matter which BE folder I make one it, rcon doesn't work.
