  1. Hi guys, I decided to make my Overpoch Skin chaning public. ( Screenshots on bottom) UPDATED to 3.0 ( CLEAN AND EFFECTIVE) Uses my defines from all my mods now. I release a version for Epoch and Overpoch. The scripts let u right click a clothing and give u a dialog to choose serveral linked skins to that specific skin. It shows you every possible skin you can have with your current inventory. No more trader needed. Make it harder to find a skin! You can change skin even when you are wearing a overwatch or arma skin! It also allows you to pickup skins!   2. Reskin Its a way to add vehicles whitout asking players to download off the server. Dnt have greats knowledge about photoshop so i had to looking for vehicles package in armaholic and find which textures wold work whit epoch, and make a few changes. **textures are in low quality to not enlarge the server mission file.*** If anyone have a tuto of photoshop to make it easy or have own textures please share :) Well lets to install: -Download here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/8kqlfy8z741mm89/EpochVehicles.rar and paste in :ServerRoot\MPMissions\DayZ_Epoch_11.Chernarus\. Hey guys, went through every single skin from ow and pulled out the ones that weren't just repetitive skins to reduce clutter since as you can see this is huge, but this basically fixes an issue where if you were to wear this skin it prevents it from vanishing after restart. Goes in your variables.sqf where it says "AllPLayers =" Then skin list of course. Hope this helps someone. This is for your variables.sqf Saw some mess ups, fixed em :)

    gender selection

    First, I'm running 1.0.5.1 and I have added buildings and am running a few scripts from my mission file which (after reading much about it on various posts) apparently causes a problem that at loading screen, I no longer get the choice to choose gender and am defaulted to play an ugly little man.... There are a few workarounds which have undesirable affects. One which causes you to have to spawn in and choose a new character every time you log in. If you want to use paraspawn, this causes you to paraspawn every time you log in. If you forget that and tab out during login, you go splat. Another workaround is to change the code in player_wearClothes.sqf to nullify the sex check so you can change skins in game. If I choose this, I need help with finding which files point to this so I can move them to my mission file and refer to them, etc. So here's my question. 1. Is there a fix to this problem that is not a workaround? 2 If not, can anyone tell me what script calls the player_wearClothes.sqf script? 3. Where is the script that determines the default skin you can choose for gender selection and can that be changed? Thank you!

  6. Mod Features: This allows user to purchase skins from a menu. You can change skins with a backpack. Humanity is backed up and restored after change. You can make all skins free. Or some/none skins free, set a global price and define up to four additional special pricing for 4 sets of skins. Persistent on logout and login. Removes radio, gps, map, compass and NVG included in some skins but leaves original equipment if equipped before skin purchase (both at purchase and re-log). Supports both Epoch (351 skins) and Overpoch (175 skins) by setting a variable. Known Issues: Even though all skin class names are all unique some of the skins have identical appearances. You have to change back into an epoch skin to use epoch clothes items again (1st one in male and female list - suggest you leave those free) Testing: All skins have been tested to insure that the inventory, weapon, and backpack slots work.   9. I have finally made a release able version of my skin trader, it is far from being done but it works great. The skin trader has all skins from Arma but if your on Overpoch or any other Addons on your server, you can easily add the skins to the list of either men or woman clothing. Before you buy a new skin you have to make sure your not wearing a backpack, once you bought a skin you can no longer use the epoch skins to change into any other skin you need to buy the skin on top of the list to do this again.   10. I am working on a Epoch based mod, adding a ton of extra features. I don't know what the final goal is going to be, but as of right now it's just a private server mod. What that means is that ATM we don't plan on releasing it. However who knows where this will end.     Is it possible to use someones player id to give them a specific skin there character spawns in (instead of survivor) For example if a clan group wanted the urban camo skin; how would i make the players in that group spawn as that character.

  15. I have a donate for custom skin option for my server. At the moment, when a donation is made the custom skin with spawn the inv of the player every time they die and respawn. How can I make the player spawn already wearing the skin?

On our server we had unlocked the skins so that we can use all arma 2 skins but once unlocked they work properly but me and another player had the unlocked skin set to our players but could not get in a vehicle together but as soon as one player removes the skin I.E dieing we can ride again as long as the player with the unlocked skin gets in last
  17. I was just thinking that since Epoch already has most of the civilian vehicles from this wonderful pack, why not include the rest of it? Obviously I don't mean adding anything like tanks and such (maybe the armored repair vehicles since tracks are usually easy to break) but stuff like the other police vehicles, the military transport trucks, the ridiculous fire engine thats massive because it looks lovely, etc. Also it would be a quick way of injecting basic items like new backpacks, weapons, and skins into Epoch to make a mod that has come so far to take it's seat upon the throne of best DayZ mod.   18. So when playing as a hero as I normally do, I really enjoy the skin that comes with it. I know the bandit skin is still in the game, why not the hero skin. Make these skins available at the appropriate vendors, bandit and bandit shops and heroes at hero shops. I miss my hero skin, but I love this mod
  19. When people get 5000 humanity their skins is the default same goes for bandits.
