Hi i am very good at coding and stuff but i cant seem to figure out how to add a trader at a random spot (bu coords ofc) so i am looking for some help to make those traders because i really want a another trader at the sea so new players dont need to run so long but i cant make any traders i followed raymix's tutorial but that confuses me the fuck out so can somebody please help me with it i already made where they need to stand just pm me or reply if you want to help/ discuss i at Willig to pay
  2. Hey folks, I recently started hosting an Epoch server and I found the southwest to be rather empty, so I decided to create a trader city just west of Kamenka as my first project. Download and unpack your server.pbo if necessary 2. Create a folder called buildings to the root of it. 3. Now place the trainyard.sqf you fetched from the above link into that folder 4. Add the following line to the very bottom of server_functions.sqf in the init folder of your server.pbo execVM "\z\addons\dayz_server\buildings\trainyard.sqf"; //Trader City - The Trainyard 5.   3. Hey folks, as I've stated before, I felt the southwest was rather empty and void of any loot. So to remedy this, I made some improvements to Kamenka. It's nothing too overpowering, just a firestation, some tents and whatever a functioning city requires.     Custom Traders

    So I have been messing around with the traders over the last few days and set up a small trader city with some high value weapons and stuff.. I am able to trade weapons/Items perfectly fine, but when I try to trade vehicles I get an error thats something like cannot find script\dayz_code\randomthings\trade_vehicles, and then when I click it, nothing happens. Anyone know why this is happening and have any suggestions? Ive probably missed something out, dont understand if you have to add the spawn location for vehicles manually or something if your making your own trader? Thanks guys

  6. Hi guys, I've been busy lately messing around with OverPoch and working like a madman but have finally got around to releasing my customised Cherno, Elektro and Berezino files. These were originally grouped together in a massive file I made a while ago that added buildings to every single town in Chernarus but I decided to split theses cities from that file. I have grouped these 3 together into 1 file for this release but please let me know if you guys would prefer separate .sqf for each city. I mainly focused on the usual areas, for enhancement, like Cherno industrial area but I have added lootable containers in and around the city where appropriate to encourage looting for supplies. I always felt that once a player was kitted out they just stayed north but hopefully this will encourage players to loot for cinder etc. I also added a second fire station to Cherno and 2 new fire stations to Berezino so that each of the three main cities have 2 Fire Stations. Elektro has a few unique additions, the central fire station has a small compound to make use of that wasted space, some apartments and a few well placed trees to give bandit snipers on top of the hill and fire stations something to think about. I basically focused on making those annoying Elektro snipers a bit less advantaged. Also, notice the walls along the dirt road heading out of town to help fresh spawns get into cover. Enjoy!   7. Hi, Recently I created a Lingor 1.5 overpoch server And the first thing I noticed was that I really hated the layout of having the traders scattered around the place. An individual trader here, another one over there. A vehicle trader taking over the race track. So I created a trader city, and my clanmate Smooose created a seperate trader city these both use many of the existing traders, plus I have an additional overwatch weapons trader which has been added in.   8. Hello, i've got problems getting the traders working.. Every time a normal player tries to open the trader window it closes instantly. For me (admin with infiSTAR it is working). Anyone knows what that could cause ? Need to get it working. My players want to trade again :D

Well here it is guys, at least 14 hours of work, a bunch of coffee and a lot of dedication to making sure the addition is functional, attractive and offers balanced loot spawns to maximize the potential gameplay. It had been specifically designed for Epoch Chernarus in mind. What is it? Well Tikhaya city (named so for its location above Bay Tikahaya on the SW corner of the map) is pretty much what it says on the tin, another city to add to the existing three; Chernogorsk, Electrovodsk and Berezino. It Contains: - Multiple lootable houses and pubs, - Hospital, - Fire station, - Large Railway station, - Railway car park with multiple salvageable vehicles, - Gas Station, - General store, - Church, - Large industrial area, with more scattered around, - Farm houses scattered on the outskirts, - Hotel with 360 degree overview on the city, - Small military encampment. As mentioned the city is ideally positioned/built to accomodate for many different types of player game style to maximise potential gameplay, whether that be sniping into/out of the city. Close quarters combat in the narrow city streets, hit and run armed vehicle dashes to get supplies and get out quick and anything in between.   10. So I have added / in the process of adding a donator trader city onto my epoch chernarus server. Since I had gathered that creating a trader was very hard, instead i moved one of the boat traders, renamed it, added god mode to it, and am in the process of restocking it with different items. This works fine, however, right now the only way i can see of restricting access to this trader is by setting the humanity needed to access it to something like 100 thousand (therefore preventing most normal players from having enough humanity to access it). I can then allocate donators with this humanity so they can access the trader. The issue with this now is that the donators would not have a choice of either hero or bandit. They would have to go with whichever is allocated to the trader. Is it possible to create a different method of access restriction to the trader? E.g. only players with approved player UID's can access the trader? Or another method... Any help setting this up would be awesome.

  12. On my server all of the custom cities have spawned in twice. There is no visual impact, however when trying to open a door you have to open it multiple times in order to enter. I presume this is due to the server reading the spawn command in two different locations however I do not know where! Any help would be awesome. My custom buildings are kept in the: vilayercodecustom\dayz_epoch\buildings\ : http://prntscr.com/37rprn \dayz_epoch\init\server_functions.sqf. : http://prntscr.com/37rpcl As you can see in this screenshot: http://prntscr.com/37rrxp the doors of the fire-station open and reveal more doors. This only applies to the custom buildings, not the default. This issue has also only just started happening
