  1. Hi, I have recently taken over as admin on a server as the owner is due to start Uni, he is helping me all he can but has limited time. Can anyone advise how to top up the traders at trader cities and wholesalers please ? It's a Chernarus Overpoch server, dedicated, and using infistar. I have xampp and BEC but not too sure where to top up. Thanks in advance, Nick
  2. I'm not sure how well tested this is, but on my Panthera servers, some items cannot be sold to traders. For example: Planica traders - vehicle trader: Tried to sell an HMMWV type of unarmed military HMV, but the trader consistently states there is no vehicle of that type within 20 meters. Awol's Airfiled - aircraft trader: Tried to sell MV-22 Osprey, but receive the message there is no vehicle of that type within 20 meters. Map: Players have reported more than what is stated here, but that is the gist of the issue. I have tried, all resulting in no effect: Reapplying database schema over top as 'insert ignore' only to SQL tables: server_traders, trader_items, trader_tids, and traders_data Different mission pbo types Rebuilding mission pbo from scratch Double checked .\mission\server_traders.sqf completely matches default Panthera .\mission\server_traders.sqf at https://github.com/vbawol/DayZ-Epoch/blob/master/Server%20Files/MPMissions/DayZ_Epoch_16.Panthera2/server_traders.sqf Adding in all vehicle classnames (similar to an Overpoch set up) to the server side vehicles array at: .\dayz_server\missions\[ALL_directories_including_panthera2]\dynamic_vehical.sqf NOTE: Some items sell to the trader fine... Example: Planica traders - vehicle trader: Bought and sold back a Vodnik Any further suggestions? Thanks, Aaron
  3. Firstly, I'd like to start of with how we were able to not exactly deconstruct but definitely discombobulate the spawn trader west of city Kora (Most western way-point of Altis). This was done by simply opening and closing doors on the storage containers. The key to doing this is make sure you have a beefy truck to take the hits. Brew and I obtained a hunter from some reckless minds in Neochori. All we did was: I Open container door. I walk into container. I close container door. Brew backs the hunter into the swing of the door. I open the door. THIHNGS GO FLYINGGG!! Ive been using AGN, and I really like it, except for 2 things.. the zombies running around knocking into you and generally being a nuisance, AND the fact that vehicles inside the trade zone are vulnerable to damage. We get some trolls occasionally that like to shoot rockets into the trader zones or ram their vehicle into other vehicles. Also occasionally DZMS spawns the missions right outside of stary and they shoot rockets into the trader zones. I tried using SARGE's old zed nuker, which works fine on my vanilla dayz server, but doesn't seem to do anything on the epoch server. http://opendayz.net/threads/zed-nuker-script.11230/ Can anyone point me in the right direction? Hello all, we have purchased a Vilayer managed server and installed Epoch 1.0.5.1 on Lingor 1.5, but the traders are not in trader citys and are instead spread out all over the map, and lets be honest here, they just dont work like that, also there is no black market trader and trader items are also in major need of editing. I have been into the map editor but found the traders are scripted in via the mission.sqf, and rather than going through each item and NPC and changing the co-ordinates I was wondering if there is another quicker way of rolling the traders back to the traditional trader city set-up or if someone with that sort of set-up would be willing to share the trader section of their mission.sqf with me. thanx in advance.
  7. I'm wanting to add some additional items to my traders. I have a good knowledge of SQL and how to add them via a query. The one thing that's holding me up is that I don't know what TID (Trader ID) to use when adding items. Most traders have multiple TIDs (i.e., Weapons Friendly - 485, 486, 489, 574, 487, 488) . How do I know which one to use when entering a new item?? Does it even matter?

  10. Hey, I was hoping if anyone could tell me if when you install Overpoch does the locations of the servers traders change? My aircraft dealer went from the NEAF to the NWAF, my traders were changed around and I'm not sure if a normal Protected trader will help :|
  11. Hey, I would really like for someone to help me with this issue I've been having trying to add a new custom trader to overpoch. So the idea is I want to add a few extra traders including a custom overpoch trader. So I first off tried adding in a "Donor vendor" up at NEAF. I followed the instructions, input the co-ordinates and even got the marker on the map for the trader. Problem is that the trader does not appear. No matter what I try for example changing the player model or changing the co ordinate of the trader, it just doesn't seems to want to spawn. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated thanks!   13. Good Morning/Afternoon! So I know this is probably the easiest thing to do but for some reason I can not figure it out. I know where my data is at but I can not find a program that can read .frm anyways. I would like to use the trader configuration tools but I can not seem to find my instance ID. Seems like that is the thing that is holding me back to use the easy configuration tools. Which I would love to use. DJbeast11
  14. Hey guys So im setting up an overpoch server and i need a little help. I hope i posted this in the right forum and category. So I purchased an overpoch server off of survival servers and they automatically edited the traders and the loot tables to spawn overwatch guns and that worked fine but the traders where bugged.... Overwatch guns only spawned at klen and there was no name or picture for the guns only the classname.. also it was bugged that you couldn't even buy the weapons...so i wiped the Traders-Data databse and replaced it with the one from my old epoch server then used the overpoch server pack : http://www.xstreamgaming.net/forum/threads/dayz-overpoch-server-pack-by-xstreamgaming-chernarus-napf-sauerland.75/ and took out the sql file and ran that in my database... it all worked fine but the guns that spawn at hero also spawn at stary/klen/bash .... also the prices arnt that good aswell ... so i know i could go through the items one by one and change the price ect but i was wondering if someone could send my their sql with all the overpoch guns and vehicles at the right places? I did contact survival servers about their premade traders being bugged and they wernt that helpfull aslo im thinking off getting a dedicated server and running this. Thank you very much.
  15. Hello, I've just tried to added an attack heli to the hero trader and it everything seemed to work until i noticed the trader WASN'T taking the ruby out of my inventory when giving me the chopper. Any idea what would cause this? -Best -Luckydo

  20. Hey all, I used this SQL query to add radios to my traders, but when I buy one (trader takes gold), it doesn't appear in my inventory. What have I done wrong?   22. I tried adding "350z_black_DZ" to my normal vehicle trader through the database by using a SQL code. Well i didnt work. Could someone please give me a template of some sort to add a custom vehicles to the traders. I am using phpmyadmin btw.
  23. Hey all so recently ive been wondering how do i change trader zones and bandit places and all shops etc to a safe zone for all players that enter it like entering Trader god mode enabled then the opposite when they leave?
  24. Ok, so our playerbase had an idea to add the BTR-90 HQ to the Hero and Bandit Traders. So we did as there seemed to be a high demand for it. suddenly they dont want it as the clans of the server seem to just wreck everybody they see, completely safe inside their BTR. How would we remove this from the traders? i have reversed the process that we did to put it in but it hasnt removed it from the traders. can anyone help?
  25. I originally started this project by adding in a trader city, but the more I looked at the map, the more I became frustrated at how randomly the traders were placed (no offense to epoch devs). So I took it upon myself to redesign the trader areas from the ground up. After organizing, adding in some simplistic details, and making it more visually pleasing I have finished my new version of the Taviana traders. The first link includes more pictures as well as details as to what it adds, the second is the link to my github where you can find the install instructions.
