    HI everybody, I need your help please, I use "TradefromVehicule" and I see a difference between the price on the database and ingame. I found lot of files in MPMissions\DayZ_Epoch_11.Chernarus\CONFIGS\TRADERS\Category, I need to know how I can delete this file for use only the price in the database of my serveur, when i touch this (delete or move) the serveur don't want start. sorry for my english
  5. Is there any way to perform full backup of the database file copying? My server is Vilayer Host, and want to make a local backup because I'm having trouble on the host. Downloading the file '' dump.rdb '' could only recover player character. Unable to recover buildings on the map. How to back up the constructions on the map?

    Redis 3.0

    Was reading about a new redis release this morning, found the link on r/programming. Drew my attention considering the use of Redis for a3 epochmod. And I'd like to see what we can expect in future Redis 3.0 google docs notes Redis Cluster Specs Then I noticed this, not sure if it's a coincidence or not, but I found it mildly interesting/amusing. I was hoping anyone could find/make me a SQL query that would add the Overwatch items into the Database, I currently have one but I'd like the new weapons and stuff to be in separate menus, not all the Overpoch Assault riles to be in the normal Vanilla "Assault Rifles" tab and Overpoch Pistols in the vanilla "Pistols" tab etc etc. I had one before on my old server but I had to reset my PC and I lost the file to do it, I have looked around and I can't find the one I used :/
  8. Hey, guys. My server was running very well, until those 4 hackers got on my server, I detected and banned them very quick. Then one guy joined back in, asked me to unban his friends and try to scare me by saying attacking the server, and of course I said no, and banned him too. After someone name Bye Bye server try to join, I banned him before he could join. Then just in case, I went to check my database and my server files on FTP. I use Vilayer so I backup all my database on the FTP. And yeah, they did something. They drop my whole database and deleted all the Database backup. Lucky, I have a database backup on my computer. I changed all my password for database and Rcon, but is there a way to change the password for FTP? And just for the future, what should I do when under such a hacker attack? Thank you :)
  9. First off I'll admit I'm far from skilled when it comes to code and scripting, but I can understand basic file/folder structure. After about an hour or two with winmerge I managed to get P4L working, so I added in Zupa's Plot Management and Door Management. Tested it on my home server with no obvious issues, so I pushed it live for more players to test. P4L required replacing the player_unlockVault and player_lockVault that were modified in Zupa's SC 3.0 script, so I merged those changes over the P4L's versions of those files. After that had no reported issues of loss of coins from safes. But after adding in Plot Management and Door Management player's are reporting safes being emptied and coins lost (which I have confirmed) and I cannot build on a plot that I'm granted permission to, although I can "manage" the pole. So I looked into those files and couldn't see anything obvious. Read that it might be changes made in server_updateObject (which there were a handful of), but again couldn't see any errors. Went back through the steps again and couldn't find anything.   11. hey, guys so i decided to move my day.st server to vilayer, I got everything going but the database, have hedisql set up for both server, i changed instance ID and the Object_DATA to lowercase, etc, but it just doesn't work somehow. When i put in the sql into query, I get a message says: Warnings from last query: Note: Table storage engine for 'object_data' doesn't have this option this is what i put in query: can someone like help me out

Right now I have 352 AI_ITEMS entries with several duplicates, the list of items for several of them are identical, if you buy things from the traders then after restart those same items are back at the traders again. Killing the traders doesn't clear them, I only have 50 dynamic traders on the map (the default), I've made no changes to the traders other than the position of the trader city traders, I've not altered the database in any way, I'm running stock Epoch with only a few scripts loaded in, none of them interact with the traders. VEMF SEM 0.6 R3F Custom script to make lockboxes invulnerable. Custom script to load in a base around the debug building. Custom script that adds some markers.

  14. Hi all, Nice to be here as a first time server owner after getting my last server pulled from under my feet due to a mod no longer developed (Raarrr). I have moved to Epoch and... well... have no idea what im doing to an extent. I am looking for someone to help me (what I actualy means is "do it" for me) script the following. I am happy to pay as I think its a lot of work, even if its not, I cant do it.   15. hello, we are having a few issues with the server maybe someone knows a fix -vehicles take upto 3 minutes to spawn once brought we are running config traders -when some players get to the count it just times out and they cant join -sometimes when you die you cant log back in -vehicles despawn get this message 22:01:36 "["PVAHR_0_ecicwc_PVAHR_0_ecicwc",["Simple Man","xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx","DELETED Vehicle with Invalid ID(0): AH6X_DZ @120026"]]" some things that could cause issues database has 12700 items running maintenance every 4 days server fps drops below 5 even after a restart player fps seems fine server specs 6 core full dedicated 6144mb ram 600gb storage 12000gb bandwidth 30 gb ssd we tried to run the game and database off the ssd but did not make much difference would it help to run the database on a separate machine? can you run more cores to the database? if anyone has this issue or knows a fix please let me know.
  16. According to an from PetuniaEpoch and vbawol, the data in CharacterID in object_data represents: Key IDs for cars / character IDs for buildables and combinations for safes. In an attempt to clean up over database a little, I noticed we have quite a lot of entries with 0 in CharacterID. (291 in fact.) Is it safe to delete these? 99% appear to be vehicles with empty inventories.
  17. Our Epoch 1.0.5.1 Chernarus database object_data has reached 10,000 items. Wondering if anyone has experience on how big to let this get and the problems I can expect o see as it grows? How do other owners maintain this? We Delete unused bases at 30 days, unused cars at 2 weeks and cars without keys are unlocked daily. Server is hosted by Vert who I am very happy with.

  19. Hi, so this seems to be a recurring issue for me. I have a server that's been running for a few months. I want to switch hosts but keep my database. I've tried two different was of creating backups of the database and both had the same result. When I setup the new server it has a really, really hard time starting up... I constantly get kicked back to the lobby and it takes about 4 tries to get into the game. No RPT errors that I can find. If I put a fresh database in the server it starts up normally first try. The server does not stutter like this normally, just having trouble getting it moved onto a new system for some reason. Anyone know what might be causing this? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

  22. Hey der guise! I was hoping one of you could give me a detailed walkthrough on how to add custom vehicles and weapons with their ammo to the traders, I am COMPLETELY new to this so don't throw weird commands at me without explaining them completely please :P Thanks!!
  23. Ok sooooo let me first start by saying I suck with SQL events and the epoch database in general. Great now thats out of the way let me explain.... So I decided awhile back to add indestructible base building to the server. Good. Except of course as you all know it comes with a crap load of issues like players can't remove their own buildables. So I attempted to do a few things to ease the pressure on me as an admin since Im running the show solo. One of the things I found was (and Im using dayz.st as a host) that dayz.st has a page listing some commonly used or recommended SQL events. They are listed here. http://dayz.st/w/Epoch_PBO_config_options_and_how_they_work#Server_Maintenance So, I dont know if I did something wrong or what the deal is, but the some parts of certain peoples' bases disappeared on the following restart. Note, I do not have maintenance activated. My base was completely gone except for a door. This led me to believe that only older sections of the bases were destroyed and any newer sections hadn't been cleaned up. Which makes sense considering thats what one of these SQL events does. Im guessing this one is the culprit but I Can't be sure. Remove abandoned objects that are 2 weeks old and empty: DROP EVENT IF EXISTS removeObjectEmpty; CREATE EVENT removeObjectEmpty ON SCHEDULE EVERY 1 DAY COMMENT 'Removes abandoned storage objects and vehicles' DO DELETE FROM `Object_DATA` WHERE `LastUpdated` < DATE_SUB(CURRENT_TIMESTAMP, INTERVAL 14 DAY) AND `Datestamp` < DATE_SUB(CURRENT_TIMESTAMP, INTERVAL 24 DAY) AND ( (`Inventory` IS NULL) OR (`Inventory` = '[]') OR (`Inventory` = '[[[],[]],[[],[]],[[],[]]]') ) ; Sooo in response I rolled back the server a day or so. Thinking that if I rolled it back past the time when I entered these SQL events that they would cease to exist. I guessed wrong.   24. So the community I'm with are starting to release our Overpoch server. The only thing is that overpoch has all the weapons from epoch and there not added to the traders, its about a good 784 weapons to add to the traders. So Im wondering is there a way to get this adding them to traders done faster ? Im doing this through PHPMy Admin on my browser. Please Help !! Thanks !
  25. Ok, so our playerbase had an idea to add the BTR-90 HQ to the Hero and Bandit Traders. So we did as there seemed to be a high demand for it. suddenly they dont want it as the clans of the server seem to just wreck everybody they see, completely safe inside their BTR. How would we remove this from the traders? i have reversed the process that we did to put it in but it hasnt removed it from the traders. can anyone help?
