  4. Epoch 0.2.0.1 Arma 1.34.128075 CPC Hardcore Wearing a ghillie, wanted to take AI's clothes in my backpack by dragging them into the backpack contents area. Wouldn't go in, but a copy of my ghillie (!) would be dropped next to the AI's body. Rest as per other reports - duped ghillie had same contents as mine (a whole lotta swings).
  5. Hi all, Nice to be here as a first time server owner after getting my last server pulled from under my feet due to a mod no longer developed (Raarrr). I have moved to Epoch and... well... have no idea what im doing to an extent. I am looking for someone to help me (what I actualy means is "do it" for me) script the following. I am happy to pay as I think its a lot of work, even if its not, I cant do it.     Wicked AI help!

    Hi! I am setting up my own server at home, just for me and a coupple of friends to play on, but I have run in to a problem with the wicked AI... I got the server up and running with missions and loot locations with ai in, but I want to set up heli patrols, paradrops and such. How do I activate theese?   7. Ass the topic title,i was download WICKED AI 2.1.4,but I don't know how add that to my server(p.s i was add above ExecVM "\z\addons\dayz_server\WAI\init.sqf to my dayz_server.pbo.What should I do next? How do I set up the AI, and make them appear on my server?)
  8. Hi, I noticed on the dzms missions that players are dying from ai in one shot, even though they still may have above 0 blood. I was wondering if there was a way to fix this and how to do so. Thanks!
  9. Hello. I've got a problem with the latest (2.1.3) DZAI after adding Lingor map running Dayz Epoch 1.0.5.1 My server runs both vehicle and heli AI. The problem is: vehicle AIs sometimes get stuck on the road, sometimes are blocked near houses and fences which are located near roads they should be moving by. Sometimes they stop on a deadlocks of the roads and stand there forever. As for helis - they do not have obstacles in the air, so they work fine. Mostly these vehicles are just standing still and waiting for something forever. At Chernarus everything was ok. *One more thing - when vehicle AIs are standing still, it's not always because of obstacles. Mostly it is an empty road wothout anything to stop them. ?!??
  10. Hi i am running the wicked ai mission syestem on my overpoch taviana server. The ai are spawning with cheytecs and cheytecsds i was wondering if there was any way to prevent them from spawing with these guns that are normally a rarity. Thanks!

Hi i am new to this scripting and all i do not know how to fix issues of this kind my problem is ive got missions set up they work perfeclty fine BUT since ive added TANKS to the server witch are t55 and t34 or something ive realised that i could do missions witouth being shot at ALL THO if ever i turn up from the option turn in turn up the ai`s start shooting at me and i get damage witch is the way it should be NOW i would like to make it so ai`s shoot down all types of car/helis/tanks since there is no vehicul that canot be bought from client side at traders witouth having to turn out from the specific tank and or any vehicul i am using https://github.com/noxsicarius/Wicked-AI-Missions/tree/master/WAI as for the ai scripts could any point me out where i need to find and change seting for ai`s to shoot all type of vehiculs Thanks in advance Nel

  14. This post is for way in the future, Beta or higher. This is not something that requires imminent implemention. Also this may not be adjustable on the modders end. I know nothing of coding or what requirements it is to change this. I am just posting to see if it can be done. Lower the "Weapon Sway" From damage Make it scale better with the damage. I do not know IF you can fix this but if you can ill post my suggestion "Suggestion" 0.01 - 0.2 damage 0.2mm sway 0.21 - 0.4 damage 0.5mm sway 0.41 - 0.7 damage "Current sway" The sway we have today. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "Drug / pain killer" As a sniper the sway will be really hard to handle the longer the distance. In future patches could we add the pain killer effect "But limited effect" as in Arma 2 its permanent until you recive damage again. A small duration. like 10 minute drug duration where you return to normal "Your normal values" afterwards? ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Arma 3 Bug probly. Sometimes when you pick up someones cloths, your cloths bug when it gets swapped to the body of your target. If you kill someone you can take their gear. Sometimes the SKIN bug and dupes it self. It will then "steal" or "share" contents with its original skin. Make it possible for people to steal your stuff. Did this by accident when i took some guys cloth after i killed him, and the guy i played with took mine.. We then saw we both had the same cloth. I emptied mine into my backpack and he lost all his stuff. I still had it all in my backpack after restart. Possible steal glitch. that can be abused if a person is smart. :D Only works until restart. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Arma 3 Bug probly. 6 out of 10 times i pick up a sniper scope or a scope with high zoom range (Sniper scope) also sometimes i pick up close range scopes aswell. I sometimes use the "auto pickup" where you just press "Pick up -Item- " instead of opening the "ingame inventory then click it over" The scope tends to magicly just remove it self from existance. This seems to be a Arma 3 bug, as this happens to me on Battle Royale aswell. Just mentioning it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Zappers (bom bom) maybe not a bug but intended still posting it* Zappers wont go up the staircase of military towers (The talest ones) or steep stairs with the same angle as the military towers. I have been able to avoid zappers that way and even made them blow them selves up without doing damage on me. Possible you can look into this. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Suggestion Health regeneration - with food over 3000 and drink over 2400 you should regenerate or lower damage down by 0.00030 damage per 45 seconds. Maximum your damage can go down with food and drink is to 0.1 damage. Time regeneration - To lower damage down from 0.X would be 0.0030 per hour you are alive. (full 60 mins) Ingame time ofc dependant on food and drink above 2100. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  15. First off, whats the best method to find the EPOCH servers. I found one with EPOCH in the title by searching through the giant list with a few filters on. Then I loaded into the game with nothing as I expected but I was stuck on this island with a bunch of steel sheds and some closed off bunker. I died a few times trying to jump down from the rocks but was eventually able to. There appeared to be vendors in some of these sheds but I could not interact with them and the bunker was inaccessible. I had no choice but a 20min swim to another shore which pretty much turned me into a popsicle. I then searched one building and came out to see 4-5 heavily armed soldiers not too far away. Of coarse they opened up on me but I ran behind the house and got away. Are their soldier AI in this game? Maybe i stumbled upon a mission. Is there a different spawn point but that dreaded Guantanamo like place? Was I even on a correct Arma 3 epoch beta server?
  16. Hi, i installed WAI before a few days (followed install tut on main page ). After some exploring (just setting customSpawns.sqf AND changing waiconfigloaded to true in init.sqf file - i set also waimissionconfig to true, but no effect.. :/ ) i get AI spawning correctly. But.. i cant make WAI missions running.. i thought that is problem if i have DZMS, DZAI and WAI together, but if i commented DZMS and DZAI in code, WAI missions still don't spawn.. Can anybody help me? Thank you for any help.

  20. Hi everyone! This is my first server and so far things are going some what well. I am having some trouble though as far as what I want AI from missions to be carrying. I'm not sure how to edit this or change what they have on them also, how can I choose what come in mission crates? I want it to be a bit more unique. I thought this is edited through the database but I didn't see it? If it is where exactly is this edited at? I am using www.phpmyadmin.net Help is always appreciated and thanks!

    Side Missions

    So, Im trying to install side missions for my epoch server, but so far I've not had any luck getting it working. It seems that whenever I make any changes to the server pbo it just doesnt work, server wont authenticate and I can press esc and spawn in the middle of nowhere, so Ive obviously done something wrong or its just a bug with dayz.st cos Ive noticed even when I make really simple changes to the server pbo it doesnt work when I re-upload it.. Anyway, if anyone could help me with getting side missions working on the latest epoch it would be much appreciated, thanks.
  22. So I wanted to make my own server so I could make it with everything I like on one server so I rented a server from HFB. Little did I know it was a lot harder to set up a server than I thought it would be, I recently set up a rust server and had no problems with them so I figured it would be just as easy with dayz. Unfortunately not so now im searching all over the internet looking for anything to help me set up my server and none of it seems to help because most of them are for other servers like vilayer and dayz.st what I am looking for is someone who can help me 1 on 1 maybe through skype and I can share my screen or at this point I would even give my HFB server info and let them do it since tbh this whole thing has become extremely frustrating for me. I just want to add things like AI missions/roaming AI Self blood bag tow/lift auto refuel/repair slow walking zombies enable death message that says how you were killed from distance you were killed base building indestructible cinder block buildings custom starting loadout for all fresh spawns and some more things that I can't think of off the top of my head atm Any help is appreciated my skype name is jakeaintscary
  23. Hey all, I have a carrier in the water off the coast of Cherno. My AI spawns on it without any issues. However my static gun emplacements are not. Is that because it is over water?   24. Have issue that fully repaired vehicles blow up when tapping gates or metal signs. Also when you use M16, M17 110 tws type weapons and shoot sarge ai npc bandit, military or civilian you instantly die. If you use lower weapons like dmr, 550z, Aim14 stuff like that no problem when shooting them. Think these might be related to some filter? High end weapons added to original standard epoch weapons in game maybe something was left out? thanks in advance Gramps :P
  25. Hi, Just wondering if anyone can help with one strange, and one less strange issue I've been having with a headless client implementation. First, the strange one that has be completely stumped. The headless client works as expected, doing exactly what I want. Then, after an indeterminate amount of time it kinda disconnects from the server. I say kinda, because it doesn't actually get kicked from the server (battleye disabled for debugging this), but I do get the following message in the server rpt: 11:02:43 "DISCONNECT: HeadlessClient (158029510) Object: HeadlessClient, _characterID: 0 at loc [0,7.96885e-038,52.8183]" You then see the headless client re-run its mission init.sqf. This is from the HC's rpt: "DEBUG: loadscreen guard started." "Res3tting B!S effects..." It generally seems to be preceded by the following in the client's rpt: Group C 1-1-A (0x19c90100) - network ID 2:6412 - no main subgroup but I sometimes see the above message without a disconnect happening. From what I can tell, the HC is being kicked back to the lobby and the rejoining the game, with any AI that was under the HC's control being passed back to the server. I believe I have the HC configured correctly, with localclient[]={"127.0.0.1"}; in the config.cfg (yes the HC is on the same server) and its correctly slotting into the civ slot. At the moment I have the HC's scripts being run from the mission pbo. I have used a custom signed mod, which works, but again gives the issue above. Any ideas why I am seeing these disconnects, or if not, any extra debugging I can do to isolate the cause? My second issue is a lot more straight forward, and I am surprised I haven't been able to find the solution. I have moved animated heli/c-130 crashes successfully to the HC and everything works great apart from the loot spawn. The HC doesnt seem to know about the variable helicrash which is used to define the loot spawn. There were a few other variables it didn't know about and I managed to find them in the server pbo and make sure they got defined on the HC, but I can't for the life of me find where helicrash is defined in either the server pbo or the dayz_code pbos. Any idea? Thanks!
