Seeing this isse aswell... Also saw it before adding dzgm to our server so doubt thats got anything to do with it.

done some further testing, still not able to make sense of it..
Ive limited the list of choppers which can lift, removing among others the Little bird.. funnily enough tho.. the little Bird is still able to lift, everything, even things that are not in the "can be lifted" section of the config file, my mate was able to lift my chinook last night.
Here's my config file, would appreciate any explanation on how this is happening.

He is talking about the vehicle he is using to lift or tow with, not the towed vehicle. The setting you're referring too is for the towed vehicle not the towing vehicle.
Yea.. I've got the same behavior on my server, you need to unhook what ever you are lifting before anybody can enter your chopper.. i just assumed it was the only way it would be possible to make it work.
Also, just had another look at the config file today, in the list of what can be lifted there are quite a few entries that are doubled up, some airplanes and the chinook was there twice as well.. not sure if its been affecting anything, but i have experienced that the some choppers where able to lift stuff that other choppers where not, while both choppers are in the can lift and the can be lifted sections of the config file.
An example of what im talking about would be the
ch53_dze can lift a mv22 (altho when you attempt it most of the time the mv22 will appear on top of the chopper, making it flip over and explode)
But a mv22 cannot lift a ch53_dze
Both choppers are in the can lift and can be lifted section of my config, this is not a deal breaker, altho the behavior isent really adding up imo.

Hmm maybe I wasn't clear enough, the problems are with the lifting vehicle.
You are still not suppose to get in it.. there is a variable in the config file you can set to false to enable it.

Hi i was wondering if someone could help me? am having a problem on our server with dzgm when we go and open up the group manager by right clicking on a radio we dont get the option to invite people has anyone else ran into this problem?

Yep, i had that exact issue, turned out that it was my own fault, i forgot to recompile dayz_server.pbo after making the needed changes to it.. was quite a big "doh" moment when i found out.

Actually I do have Build Snap Pro installed as well.
It works just fine. I've triple checked my install steps.
Both dzgm and build snap calls dayz_spaceInterrupt.sqf so the part of dzgm that is going into that file had to be put in the dayz_spaceInterrupt.sqf in build snap instead of what the instructions for dzgm said..
Altho even before realizing this had to be done we never experienced anything like that you are, the dzgm simply just didnt load, server loadede just fine and i was able to join it np.
Oh, and i did have another problem with not being able to accept invites, but that turned out to be me forgetting to recompile the dayz_server.pbo after making the needed changes in that.

Got it working on my Overpoch server, the issue we had with installing it was that it kinda sorta conflicted with the build snap pro script, but after we got that sorted it all worked as intended.
Sounds like you messed up during the install somehow, or it might be conflicting with some other mod u have running.

what i mean with "no glitch through buildings", when you dropped a lifted vehicle on a roof or platform, etc..
i will add option to allow or disallow for "get in car" when its lifted or towed..

The dude im building the server with and i just did some further testing, and we found out that glitching through buildings is still possible.. atleast i think thats what you mean by glithcing through buildings..
First test was with a car towing a car, he was able to get in the car being tow'ed and i could back up to a building and he got out inside the building.
Next test was with a chopper, i can confirm that it cannot lift locked cars, however i am able to get into a car thats being lifted by a chopper and i can sit there while being flown around honking the horn.

All right.. :) so, a new day arrived and with it a fresh set of eyes! :) So i just revisited this and relized that the "Server not getting past load screen" was enterly my fault.. Ive got several scripts in a "custom" folder in my mpmission folder, since im running on a dedicated server there is no mission pbo.. As soon as i moved the logistics folder out of the mpmissions\custom\logistic and into mpmissions\logistic server loads up without a problem.. So far so good.
My troubles where not over after figuring that out however.. my admintools was not loading.. So by trial and error ive found out that i have to load admin tools before loading logistics this gives me both towing and admintools \o/ as a result i now load towing from the bottom of my init.sqf after most other scripts have loaded.
BUT! chaintowing true or false does nothing... im able to chain tow no matter what its set to.. So i figured it might have somthing to do with where i was loading logistics from, to test this i moved the logisics call compile line back to where it is suppose to go, but chaintowing is still possible.. And my oh my,my admin tools load even with this, not sure what changed, or if just fucked up when i first tried to load it under server_traders.sqf...
Seeing as ive never liked having all vehicels being able to tow everything i just "fixed" the chaintow by only having a select few cars being able to tow, sure, this will still give users the ablity to chaintow the select few vehicles, but it wont be as obvisous that chaintowing is possible.

Hey.. First of all lemme just say, Great work on this script...
But, ive also got a few notes... do with them as you like.. :)
Its not quite straight forward to figure out how to use the snap tool when you approach this without having used it before, i had to go look at your video to figure out how to actually snap things, and i think it might need explaining a bit better, or perhaps rename the "F" button to Snap as that is what it does, and call the action menu something else.. as that does not snap as one would think is what would happen when you select "snap on"
The issue i ran into was after selecting Snap Off from the action menu, it was unclear to me how i acutaly snapped stuff.. the descrition of the use of the "F" button to make it happen did not register with me, or with the duders i have testing my server with me, So explaining that a bit better would go a long way imo.
The other thing i had to figure out by trial and error was the fact that the "snap balls" only show up on the item your character is looking at when you hit the "snap off" option in the action menu..
Its by all means nothing major, and all in all this is an excellent script.. :) i just figured id share my experience, as i figured you as a dev quickly get "blind" to the pitfalls newcommers might experience when first approaching this script.

I assume you got the latest version where adding BE filters is no longer required? Anything in your RPT?

Overpoch server running napf gets stuck on loading screen when trying to use this.

I am using this, and can confirm that it indeed still will end you if you are in the path of the car you are towing, and the back end of the car you are attaching to.

Script restriction #40 when i try to pull clothes off dead bodies
Spawn'd Vehicles disappear after a short while.

re teleport - off the top of my head hold "Alt" and left mouse click on the location you want to move too.
If your in a car it will take that with you. If you end up in the ground - use forward and space button to get out.

Altho, the menu's are stil buggin out, if you enter the teleport menu and exits it, it will double up on Tools menu the next time u load it up.Screenie: http://i.imgur.com/IghZhTk.jpg

First off! Hats off to all u fine gents who put this together!
Second, Ive now got my 1.0.1.5 Epoch server online with the 1.2.1 Pack, it starts up and loads just fine, I'm able to login and am able to tow stuff, and see the admin tools, i've spawn'd a car without issues, but the teleport menu seems to either not work, or i may very well be doing something wrong.
When i select the teleport option from the admin menu, it show's stuff on my map, but from here im unsure what to do to acutely teleport? this is my first time messing about with these kinda tools, so im unsure as to what to do after getting everything shown on the map?
One thing i did notice about the teleport option is that when i exit it again (without teleporting) it says "removing stuff from map" and does just that, if i then go into the teleport menu again, it will double up on adding stuff to the map, rinse repeat and all of a sudden i have 5x marks for one car/heli/whatever on my map.
Haven't really had a chance to test anything else as of yet.
