  2. Hi there,

     

    we are running dayz epoch 1.0.4.1 ( returned to this version because the 1.0.5.1 was for us to buggy ).

     

    Server Host is the German Company Nitrado.

     

    I have done everything as explained in the Installation guide on github ( except for the update .... looks to me that the files I got and the one in the update are the same ) or am I mistaking?

     

    Server starts without any trouble but I don't get the MENU.

     

    I checked already the init.sqf for any errors but could not find any as well as the admintools\config.sqf for a wrong ID and/or name but they are correct as well.

     

     

    In the RPT Log I found this

     

    Admin Tools : config.sqf loaded

     

    Admin Tools : variables.sqf loaded

     

    ERROR in expression <tools\antihack\antihack.sqf

  3. To be honest? yes it is because I did search and I am quite capable to figure things out but in this case I did not find it ........

     

    I guess I used the wrong search terms because I usually try to figure things out my self.

    we do have for now a private server @nitrado and are quite impressed so far but there are two things we could not figure out.

     

    1 - how to get the ingame admin tools running or how to access them

     

    2 - none of us did get the chance to select his or her gender but this should be possible or not?

  5. I know but the do need to do this too when I put them as individual files in the root .....

     

    This way I can just make one "all in one" file for them to download and it gives me more oversight.

     

    I guess I will try this later ......

    I asked if it would be possible to put multiple vehicle mods or addons into one folder !!!!!

     

    at the moment I got the standard way

     

    @car1/addons/ files of car1

    @car2/addons/files of car2

     

    I was wondering if I could plain and simple do it that way

     

    @vehicles/addons/ files of car1 and car2

    I was wondering if it would be possible to put multiple mods into one modfolder ..... client side and server side

     

     

    For example create a folder called @vehicles and inside this the addons folder ..... can I then put all vehicle files in this on "addons folder" there?

     

    Reason for asking is to not have multiple @car1 , @car2 for example folders in my OA Root and my DayZ Root on the server as well as to keep the launch parameter a bit shorter

     

    Is this possible like that.

  8. Aehm I bought it from the trader ....... I mean the MTVR so then it should be or not?

     

     

    The other problem are the vehicle mods ..... like I said on this map it want show one of the vehicle mod's but on my testserver with chernarus it showed right away ....

     

    I got one helicopter mod and two vehicle mod's ..... all are with the proper files and all are installed exact the same way but as I said the helicopter and one vehicle mod is showing the other one is not but only on this map because chernarus and panthera right away !!!

    finally I got on my Nitrado Server Epoch 1.0.3.1 with Taviana 2.0 up and running.

     

    There are some odd things I don't get.

     

    Some vehicles will just not show up on the map ..... i.e. the MTVR_DES_EP1 i bought from a trader but nothing there untill I renamed it to MTVR ....

     

    The other thing is really getting me ....... today I downloaded two vehicle addons but only one will show up in the game ...... yes I installed both the same way, checked the spellings and the launch parameter .....fair enough most would now guess the one addon is broken but no because I installed it on my testserver running Epoch Chernarus and Epoch Panthera and there the vehicle in question is showing up.

     

    Do I assume right that Epoch is not fully integrated?

  10. OK I did as explained in the github (except for the part clarified by fr1nk ) but initially I got a error message that I could not play / edit this mission because of some deleted content " suv_col " ...... i figured I delete it from the mission.sqm.

     

    After this the game started but Lyepestock Trader City has only one Trader ...the one with the Backpacks, Food and so on and in Sabina the same ..... the other traders I did not check so far

     

    Just in case soeone asks I do a quick rundown how I did what ....

     

    - Downloaded the Zip from Github, made backups of my @DayZ_Epoch_Server and of my DayZ_Epoch_13.tavi.pbo

     

    - In the DayZ_Epoch_13.tavi.pbo I replaced my mission.sqm with the mission.sqm from the download and did the same with the server_traders.sqf

     

    - In the dayz epoch server I replaced the mission.sqf and put on the end of the init\server_functions.sqf this :

    On the server I importet the server_traders.sql in to my server DB
     
    Restart ..................
     
     
    I did now see something odd ....... in my DB are now two server_traders
     
    one written like that server_traders containing 24 Traders
     
    the other one written like that Server_TRADERS containing 176 traders ( this can't be right )
     
     
    So I deleted both DB entrys and imported the one from the download again ...but to no avail ........ still hardly any traders

    I installed just Taviana 2.0 under dayz epoch 1.0.3.1 .....seems to be working but the traders are not working right.

     

    Now I found this here and thought cool this will solve my trouble but there seems to be a drawback because the instruction states the following

     

    "

    Step 1: Open your Mission.PBO and replace these three files with the ones I have provided:

    • server_traders.sqf
    • mission.sqf
    • mission.sqm

    "

     

    in my dayz_epoch_13.Tavi.pbo there is no mission.sqf ....should I just put it in there?

     

    will my mission.pbo still then be editable by the ARMA II 3d Editor?

    what do you mean?

     

    Don't I have to install or move or rename anything on my server?

     

    Usually I have to set something on my server and add something to the start parameter of the dayz commander.....

     

    And even if I sound extreme stupid but where do I have to put that what you wrote up there?
