I wholeheartedly agree, especially the whole few buildings protected thingI would really hate this automatic approach. That would mean that my buildings are gone when I return from a business trip or family vacation.
Tuning the timer parameter upwards won't do much good, either - some vacations are 4 weeks long and too high a setting will clutter the server too severely.
Any solution is fine with me as long as there is a dependable minimum of buildings that are not touched at all. Anyway, the server administrator would be able to selectively remove the player bound tags just as well as he could with owned vehicles.

Maybe make the settings options for the server owners? Like, maybe an owner just wants everything unremovable until the owners of the buildings or admins decide to remove it, It should be a option instead of one way over the other. Customization is what will make this mod thrive.

Sounds like Origins... although, if you could make garages openable via a PIN (preferably a 6 digit code, and Maybe increase safe digits too) then we could have the same kinda deal, but with garages. It'd be nice, because we'd be able t keep our cars as Well as our guns.

Hi, I was thinking about starting an Epoch server but I have a few questions, which I'd be really grateful if someone answered.
Can I unsync it from the Epoch "hive"", so people can't bring their stuff?
Can people hack metals into the game, and is there a way to detect this ill-gotten goods so I can ban hackers?
Can DayZ Epoch run with DayZ Civilian?
Is there an incentive to build?
